Harbourside Dental Group is a modern, state of the art dental practice overlooking the waters of Burrard Inlet in North Vancouver's Harbourside Business Park. The location of our facility and our comfortable, relaxing environment has been carefully designed to provide you with a calm and serene dental environment while you receive the best in available dental care.
Dr. Pouneh Hanjani, General Dentist, grew up on the North Shore. In addition to a Bachelor of Science with a minor in psychology, she also holds degrees in both dental hygiene and dentistry. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from UBC and is now practicing general dentistry. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strives to provide her patients with the highest level of care.
Dr. Roger Goncalves, General Dentist, moved into the Vancouver area over 30 years ago when he began his dental career studying at the University of British Columbia. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine B.Sc. Microbiology UBC 1977, D.M.D. UBC 1982 he soon became a principal partner helping to establish six highly successful dental clinics in the lower mainland, including a North Shore location.
I came to Vancouver from Hong Kong in 1972. My high school education was completed at Sir Winston Churchill high school. After graduating from the faculty of dentistry at U.B.C. in 1982, I attended the surgical residency program at V.G.H. In 1983, I started my private practice with my good friend and classmate, Roger Goncalves, at our original location in North Vancouver's Capilano Mall.
At Harbourside Dental, besides providing exceptional dental treatment, we also aspire to take care of you in a mindful, thoughtful way. To achieve excellent dental health, it is best if you, the patient, work in a synergistic way with our dental team. We will take the first steps to initiate this partnership relationship.

I recommend Harbourside Dental Group. They care about their patients. They also give superb work and beautiful results in every aspect of the work the patient requires. They do not overcharge, which happens in other practices. The atmosphere in the Group is welcoming. They make you feel like a friend or family

I've been a patient for years and I have to say the service quality has gone bad recently and I will be changing dentist after this.
My last experience was a no-show of the doctor even after her office staff called me yesterday to confirm my appointment. When. I arrived Roger was kind enough to take a look but couldn't work on my teeth as he was short of time.
While I understand that last minute emergencies happen, I would have liked their office to give me a call so I didn't waste my time, cancelling work commitments and driving all the way to North Van just to be told they could not attend

Very professional team of dentists who listen to your concerns and make sure that your time at the office goes as smoothly as possible and that your dental issues are all solved. I have a very bad fear of needles but every time I need to get an injection Dr. Hanjani makes me feel very calm and proceeds to use the injection as smoothly as possible so that I don’t feel anything.
the office also has a lot of free parking spots available so I never have to worry about where to park my car.
I highly recommend this place for any dental concerns!

I was in today for teeth cleaning and my technician was Amelia. All my prior cleanings by other personnel were excellent. Amelia was beyond excellence. She was thoughtful, took interest, handled every concern with ease, and left me feeling comfortable and confident of the service. I have no doubt she did finest work. I made my next appointment with her there and then.

I give this dental office 5 stars! I absolutely love Dr. Goncalves. He is so gentle and calm. I’ve been a patient of his for 25 years and won’t go anywhere else. The front desk staff are lovely ( especially Jan or Jenn- can’t remember her name ). She is friendly and welcoming. I have to admit I haven’t had as good an experience with all the Dental Hygienists- But seeing Roger after makes up for it.

Harbourside dental is great; the staff are very friendly, caring and the practice is very clean and high tech with a beautiful view of the water and downtown. I usually have anxiety when I go to the dentist but Dr. Hanjani always has a way to calm me down, she is very friendly, professional and ethical. I highly recommend Harbourside Dental.

Found out about Harbourside dental and doctor Ho through a friend and he is always through in his research and particular about who he sees I was looking for a new dentist after my old dentist had to stop working do to health reason and her replacement was not a good fit I had no confidence in her Doctor Ho was a breath of fresh air and the team at Harbourside amazing I would recommend them to anyone they are first rate Thanks
