The Shipley Group is a small, family-based business consisting of Notary Public and Accounting Services. We are located in Victoria, BC, Canada. Born and raised in Victoria, Tim was educated at St. Michaels University School and later at Mt. Douglas. He continued his education at the University of Victoria where he completed his Bachelors Degree.

Tim is very knowledgeable and we have always had positive and professional communication from him and staff members. Whether it's taxes, real estate paperwork, or contracts, Shipley Group has been our go to. While they are often super busy, it's because they're in demand. It's great to have this local option in our neighbourhood.

I have been to this business twice. The first time they were closed for holidays at the end of August/beginning of September. No mention of this on their website. I emailed them to suggest they update their business hours on their website when they are planning to be closed for a long amount of time. Never heard back.
The second time I went, I had a couple POA documents from an online kit for them to notarize. The lady at the front desk went to ask someone in another room if they could do this, and she returned stating that they couldn't and I would have to pay for a whole new POA document to
