Kim studied Massage Therapy at Sir Sandford Fleming College of Applied Arts and Technology in Peterborough, Ontario, where she spent added time taking extra myofascial and sports injury classes prior to graduating in 2003.She started her career in Oshawa, Ontario before returning to her hometown of Ottawa in 2006.

Excellent massage! My neck and shoulders felt very tight, probably from all the time working in front of the computer. Jane treated me, and it was splendid. So relaxing in fact I fell asleep! Afterwards my neck and shoulders were much relieved. Thank you, Jane. Can't wait to return.

I have had many massages with Kim. She has fantastic pressure and hits all the areas that are giving me trouble. One time I hurt myself shovelling and had a massage with someone else. It did nothing. After I saw Kim, the pain was completely gone!
Not only is Kim's massage very effective and relaxing, but the whole atmosphere of the clinic is quite peaceful and beautiful. I would definitely recommend her and her clinic to everyone.

Deirdre was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and pleasant to interact with. I was highly impressed with her service and would ardently recommend her to anyone struggling with pain management.
I also appreciated the clinic setting itself. As it is just one room, clients experience the utmost privacy and are able to feel they are the focal point instead of the RMTs interacting with coworkers or other clients. Vitality Massage provided arguably the best overall therapeutic massage experience I have ever had.

Kim was all over the place with this massage. I asked for head, neck, shoulders, back. Kim jumped around between these body parts in a way that made me feel like nothing was being helped. She would massage 1 muscle in my neck for 2 seconds and then switch to a muscle in my hips and then back up to my head etc. In between, she would lightly run her hands down my back over and over again with no pressure (at least 40 times in a 1 hour massage).
This massage felt like someone was lightly touching my back instead of actually helping the trigger points. At the end of the massage I massaged my own shoulders

Vitality is a small clinic located in Centretown as it only has two rooms. They are dimly-lit to create a nice and relaxing atmosphere and the hot blankets are also nice additions. As for the massage session, Deidre was great in addressing my low back pain and now I feel very little pain and discomfort in that area. Definitely recommend!

Although I haven’t (yet) had the pleasure of seeing Kim for a massage myself, I’ve had numerous patients who have had excellent results from her treatments. As a practicing Chiropractor in Ottawa, I’m confident that any patients I refer over to her will be treated well and will be receiving evidence-based and patient-centered care from an extremely competent and skilled therapist.
