Before 1999 Kamloops Large Animal Veterinary Clinic was known simply as Kamloops Veterinary Clinic. Established in 1968, the practice was originally housed in the old Kamloops Exhibition Association building on 10th and Lorne Street. The clinic was later relocated to a brand new building at 1465 Cariboo Place on the far outskirts of Kamloops.
