Dr. Miu graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012, and joined our team immediately. Dr. Waters graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016, after completing an Honours Bachelor. Dr. Baird graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004, after completing an Honours Bachelor.
When you arrive for your appointment, you and your pet will be greeted warmly. One of our veterinarians will get a detailed history, do a full physical examination on your pet, happily answer any of your questions, and review all diagnostics and treatment options. Any questions regarding routine wellness and care, as well as any required educational material will also be provided.
Dental disease is the most commonly diagnosed disease in our pets, with 85% of dogs and cats over the age of 3 suffering from some degree of periodontal or oral disease. Common signs of dental problems include halitosis (bad breath), gingivitis (red, irritated gums), tartar and plaque buildup, changes in eating and chewing habits, pawing at the face, and generalized depression or lethargy.
Ultrasonography, or ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging technique often used in conjunction with radiography. Ultrasonography allows imaging and visualization of the body's organs and deeper structures. It can be very useful in the evaluation of the heart, kidneys, liver and gallbladder, and urinary bladder.

Incredibly helpful, caring and passionate team. Dr. Waters went above and beyond to help us meet the import requirements to bring Potato to Australia (which is an extremely stressful, meticulous process - even more so during COVID). If it wasn’t for Dr. Waters and Emily, we would not have been reunited with our fur baby as soon as we were able to. Forever grateful!

It was my first time there and they were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Baird, Dr. Waters and reception staff were all compassionate and caring. Even though I was devastated when I heard that my cat Margaret had a large mass, I believe the way handled the situation made it more tolerable. They really helped me when it came to making one of the hardest decisions in my life. A couple weeks later, I received a kind hand written note from on of the Doctors. Blew me away.

The friendly caring knowledgeable staff. My little girl was a patient of Dr. Warrens for almost 20 years. Dr Warren is the best veterinarian. Did several surgeries on my girl over the years and I knew she was in the best hands with him. She beat the odds a few times but I always had faith and trust in Dr Warren. Thank you Dr Warren for taking such good care of Star over the years and going above and beyond!

This is an excellent vet and team for anyone looking for a good exotic vet. I have taken my rabbit to a few different clinics, and these people are amazing; they handled her expertly and were thorough and detailed in their examinations, more so than any other location I had been to for locally available care. They understood the severity and urgency of G.I. stasis in rabbits, and we were able to come in on short notice when it was necessary. I can't give them high enough praise.

We cannot thank the entire staff at Oakville Animal Clinic enough for their kindness, compassion, and hard work when our little man fell ill with pancreatitis. Ice (our cat) was new to the clinic and we immediately felt relieved that he was in good hands by all the staff there. They made his inpatient stay as comfortable as possible and provided us… with daily updates regarding his status which put us at ease during this stressful time. Thank you to all the staff involved in Ice's care - we look forward to bringing him back for regular check-ups to ensure he stays as healthy as possible

Total despair. Utter loss. No energy to smile, my pace in living is off. Rescued this Angel that

We brought our fur baby Thunder here today for difficult circumstances, and the staff and Dr. Warren were all amazing. Dr. Warren took the time to walk us through what was happening to our baby and gave us the peace of mind that we were making the right decision. He was extremely thorough with us, and was so patient, compassionate and kind. I can't say enough about the care we received. Thank you to the whole team there for making the process as smooth as possible.
