As your dentists, we want to ensure that your oral health is always at it's best. That's why regular dental checkups are a fundamental part of your oral health maintenance and preventive care. The dental care team at Acadia recommends that you visit the dentist at least once every year for a dental exam.
To maintain the best oral health possible, it is recommended that you visit the dentist for a professional teeth cleaning twice each year. In addition to your regular checkup exam, dental cleaning is essential to your oral health maintenance and preventive care. During your dental cleaning at our clinic, your dental hygienist will gently remove tartar and plaque before they polish and deep clean the surfaces of the teeth.
Invisalign aligners are an excellent alternative for teens and adults who want to improve their smiles but are not excited about the idea of wearing typical metal braces. Because Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made for each patient, you can be sure that when you get yours, they will perfectly fit over your teeth.
Dental implants are anchorage devices that work for both temporary and permanent restorations. These anchors, which are typically titanium, are biocompatible with the body. Similar to how artificial replacements work for joints, dental implants are an excellent replacement option within the mouth. A patient can choose to get a dental implant as a single tooth root that would work perfectly for a crown for a single tooth replacement.

My father needed emergency dental work on a Saturday and went to Acadia Dental because it was open. They fit him in and stayed late (an hour and a half late!) to make sure that his tooth got temporarily repaired so it would last until he could get a root canal.
