Thank you for your interest in joining our team! We are always willing to consider additions to our wonderful team. Our clinic has a regular roster of university student volunteers. We are delighted to provide valuable clinic experience for their Ontario Veterinary College applications, and value their many contributions to our practice.
Whether it's a full bath or just to tidy up those bushy brows, we keep our grooming appointments stress-free and as fun as possible. We specialize in patients that may not tolerate a standard groom, and we offer nail trim services for both cats and dogs. In-home nail trims are also available. If your kitty is currently our patient, we would be happy to take care of them for you while you are away.
Because one year of your pet's life is equivalent to several of our years, an annual exam can identify an underlying condition before it become a serious health concern, and helps ensure a long and happy life for your animal companions. We highly recommend yearly health screens as a minimum, especially for older animals.
A personalized vaccination schedule can minimize the number of vaccines given to any one patient, resulting in a healthier immune system and a reduction of health problems for our patients. By carefully considering each animal's risk of exposure to infectious diseases, we can safely limit the number of vaccines that each patient requires.
We are pleased to offer state-of-the-art diagnostics and 24-7 emergency services, as well as Laparoscopic, Endoscopic, and Laser Surgery. We use only the safest anaesthetic protocols and pain management by incorporating both traditional and homeopathic modalities. Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive technique for viewing the internal structures of the abdomen.

I highly recommend this vet. They really care about your furry family members. I called them at 11 am on a Saturday, they normally close at 12 pm. They stayed there till after 2 pm allowing me the time to get there, and to treat my dog with IV fluids as he was dehydrated. It has very quickly become obvious that they care about the pets they treat. It's not all about money for them. They also do follow up calls just to see if the treatments are working! Thank you to the entire team at Park Ave Vet. I am truly grateful for their help and compassion.

We had a bad experience with Dr. Bianca. We found her forgetful (missed an appointment) and overall a scatterbrain. After several months of not properly treating our dog's eye ulcer (and seeming not at all confident in what she was doing) and referring us to a (very expensive) specialist in Waterloo, we decided to try our chances getting a second opinion elsewhere. We just didn't trust her. Luckily, the other vet was able to help our dog but unfortunately due to Dr. Bianca's inaction for so many months, our dog required an expensive surgery.

The best kept secret in town. Quietly tucked away behind the plaza, I am blown away time and time again with the level of compassion and care that is taken to ensure my pets' stress levels (and mine) are kept at a minimum during examinations-- whether it be for their annuals, or otherwise. Dr Bianca is the best! It's so refreshing to meet a vet who gives honest, sound advice and isn't in it just for the money

This vet office is a beautiful place to be when you love your pet/ family member & want the best care possible. They have holistic approaches, vitamin boost remedies for cats + dogs, obvious compassion for their animal patients, & incredible patience. Wholeheartedly the best vet experience I have ever had, I'm so grateful I found them. They have… saved the life of one of my beloved cats this summer when my regular vet basically said there's nothing else to aid in his recovery, he's doing beautifully now. Today was the first time I had to use Park avenue Vet. Our dog Doug the pug, 12 years old was having a very hard year and the last month was very sad.
