I am beyond spitting angry right now. Our mortgage was supposed to close over a week ago now. We have been waiting for a MONTH for papers to sign and have gotten nothing! Not even the promised phone call to confirm details. We were told someone would also be out to look at the house and even that didn't happen. When we got to within a week prior to closing, we contacted our mortgage broker. The Monday AFTER the scheduled closing of our mortgage, our broker emailed us and asked us for our own lawyer's contact information because FCT dropped the ball on our file. How may people are still waiting

Absolutely zero attention to detail and responsiveness. Notice how they don't respond to negative reviews, but write an entire paragraph for some fake 5 star review simply saying "Great Service".
Follow Up: I didn't "get in touch with them" to "get to the bottom of this". These kinds of companies leave these responses when they want to give the appearance that they care about improving. You want me to take even more of my time, with zero benefit to me in the future? It's a lot easier for me to take my business elsewhere. Maybe next time, do better before it goes public.

Terrible service.
Delayed my transfer by 16 days.
Every day I was paying an extra 20$ in interest due to their mistake and they acted like it didn't matter.
Multiple representatives and my account manager Jaspal lied to me about not receiving a buy out statement when they did.
The last day before the transfer I got a email at 7 am for a form my wife had to sign infront of a witness and have in by 11 am when she is at home on maternity leave with a 8 month old baby and a 4 year old.
If I ever transfer my mortgage again I will insist the company does not use fct.

Had these guys handle our mortgage transfer to a new lender and the experience was TERRIBLE. They waited till the last minute to process things and only paid attention to my file when I started inquiring directly over phone/email. At which point they realized that they were very late on my file and expedited the process.
While they finally did get the job of setting up the signing appointment and paying out my current lender done in time, it was very last minute and nerve wracking. The cherry on top? Andrea Tait (Title Officer assigned) and her FCT platinum team have 0 training in customer service

Wow. They can’t do anything right. They never got the details right (after being told multiple times) for our re-finance. Ended up being the most frustrating experience for something that should be really simple.
When I called to try to get it resolved, I was transferred 5 times. 5!! Get a better operations person to manage your services...
