Services
Puppies and adult dogs can benefit greatly from dog training at Bloor Street Animal Hospital. Many owners struggle with teaching their dog good behaviors and basic commands, like sit, stay and heel, and preventing unwanted behaviors, like begging for table scraps and laying on the furniture. Our practice offers puppy and adult dog training services so that you and your dog can learn and grow together.
Euthanasia is something most people would rather not think about, unfortunately, pets become old and ill, and when they appear to be suffering, sometimes pet euthanasia is the most caring and compassionate thing a pet owner can do for their pet. It can be difficult for pet owners to determine when it's time to say goodbye to their beloved pets, especially if your pet has good days and bad days.
As a caring human companion to your treasured cat or dog, you know all-too-well that his or her health and well-being goes beyond vaccinations and check-ups. While fancy pet salons may have you convinced that pet grooming is a luxury, it is so much more than that. Pet grooming is a key part of keeping your furry companion healthy, happy and yes, beautiful.
When you go on vacation, a business trip or spend a weekend away, it's important to have reliable care for your pets. Pet boarding for dogs and cats with Bloor Street Animal Hospital is a great way to make sure your pet is comfortable and well taken care of while you enjoy your trip.
Veterinary pet boarding offers many benefits over traditional pet boarding, and the biggest benefit is that we have a veterinarian and veterinary technicians that are experienced and trained in the handling and care of all types of dogs and cats.We also have the ability to immediately examine and provide medical care for your pet if he or she becomes ill, and the ability to administer daily medications for pets with chronic illnesses.

It only takes a moment for your pet to bolt out the door or break away from his leash, and many lost pets never find their way home because they have no form of identification when they get away. Tags on collars are great, but pets often break or lose their collars in their attempt at freedom. Microchipping is a way to ensure your pet can find his way home, with permanent identification always in place.

Found this vet for urgent help with my cat. She unfortunately passed away but the staff and Dr did everything they possibly could to help us, and then helped me with arrangements. I have a new kitten now, and she also receives her care from here. All vets are expensive but the prices here are much more affordable and the service is unmatched. Highly recommend.

100% love this vet. I use them for 2 cats and 1 dog. The vet is fantastic (Dr. Sukhchain Sekhon) really knows how to make an animal feel welcome. My cat cried the whole way to the vet but stopped as soon as the vet greeted him ❤️
The vet assistant/receptionist is also amazing. She is really great with the animals.
I wasn't able to go in the room but they made sure to leave the door open so I could hear and keep me updated on everything they were doing.
Keep up the great work!!

My cat was 21 years old. Overnight she took a turn for the worse and I had to make the decision to prevent her from experiencing any more discomfort. All the positive reviews on this clinic are entirely accurate. I had an appointment booked for within the hour. The veterinarian and receptionist were incredibly accommodating and nice. The cost for the procedure was presented to me in 3 options.
At home burial less than $200. Communal cremation less than $300, and cremation with ashes returned about $500.
Please make this animal hospital your first consideration for medical emergencies for your

Great with my GS X LAB! Got her in no problem. Both visits for shots and Spade, never heard a peep out of her. Vet came out and spoke to me and answered any questions that I had. Reasonably priced. Heard of over priced procedures by other pet owners at other Vets.
I would reccomend Bloor Street Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a vet in the neighborhood!

If i could give this vet a zero i would. If i could get this man to be arrested and jailed for crimes against animals i would. He misdiagnosed my cat so many times and senseless operations only to keep charging me money- he is only about the money. I would say that this vet scammed me out of $20,000. HE IS A MONSTER. He made my cat suffer so much and then had to be put to sleep. Before i brought the cat there, my cat was happy and in good health , only issue was he had swollen tooth that needed to be pulled. i wanted him just to fix my cats tooth that was swollen. He said he needs to take

Absolutely stellar. The doctor is very calm, so when I was panicking about my cat, he was very reassuring, professional, and he obviously loves animals. The lady at the front desk during my appointment was absolutely fantastic. Taught me how to cut my cats nails properly and effectively, was the perfect amount of empathetic and professional, and seemed to be well organized. So happy I found this clinic, honestly.

This is not my usual vet. My dog had an emergency situation where he hadn’t gone to the washroom in 12+ hrs. Everywhere I called told me I had to wait 4-8 more hours for him to be seen. Blood street animal hospital got him in within the hour. They took great care of Snape and were extremely thorough and FAIRLY PRICED! Veterinarian services can be costly and they are extremely reasonable. I will highly recommend their services to fellow pet parents!

If you are looking for a kind, professional vet clinic then I always recommend Bloor st animal hospital. The doctor seems to be truly concerned with your pets health and not how much he can charge you. A real rarity these days. The administrative staff is amazing as well, always organised and professional.

This was our first time here and it doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that fool you...the inside is very clean and quite appealing. Our new puppy has fear aggression but for some reason was good with the female staff member he met there. That was a good sign. The vet was very patient with him. Prices are very good, especially for a family with 3 pets.

Do not take your animals here!!!!
While the Vet techs are caring the Vet himself is cold and doesn't listen to what you tell him.
He preformed a procedure on my pet that should have never been done.
The blood work showed he had a kidney infection and that should have been treated first. If it had....my baby boy would have still been with us.
I'm heartbroken and don't want want anyone else's fur babies to be taken away from them.
