221 Degrees Laser Clinic is pleased to announce as part of the Harmony XL laser system used for ablative skin resurfacing for aging, damaged, or scarred skin. The gentleness of this procedure allows delicate areas of the body to be treated safely. This laser treatment can clear years of sun damage, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles.
A lot of people have some kind of vascular pigment lesions like sunspots, birthmarks, a spot or mole, freckles, etc. Skin pigmentation can be caused due to exposure to sun or due to aging. Without a doubt, the worst spa ever. The owner was rude and had a bad attitude. When I shaved, she accused me of not shaving. She yelled at me, accusing me of not being prepared. Instead of shouting and calling people for reminders, she should be taking notes on her clients' files. The treatment offered at this spa has left me very disillusioned and dissatisfied. I will never return, and I would not recommend it to anyone else unless they want to be humiliated. A suggestion: put a smile on your face and act as if you want to be there.

I gave this owner so many chances with her rude, disrespectful attitude towards me every single time I call or talk to her. She accuses me of "not shaving properly" and yells at me in front of people when telling her I'm not seeing the best results. She also called to yell at me because I was out of town and couldn't answer my phone. So when I called back to confirm my appointment me she blatantly said "next time you don't call or confirm your appointment I'm going to remove you from the system" with her ridiculous attitude. Never going there again and never recommending that anyone else does.

Critical: Professionalism
Terrible experience! Rude, loud and aggressive owner, whose behaviour reflects zero customer service knowledge and experience, though her employees being lovely, professional and really good at what they do. Never going back there again, I am still furious as to how I was spoken to and treated in public. Don't go there!

Very rude lady at the front desk. The Mani Pedi was good and the esthetician was good..I'd give 4.5 stars for the esthetician. I give zero stars to the salon.. but the owner was rude. Beware of this lady!

This place is MAGICAL! The owner Nada is exceptional, she goes above and beyond for her customers at the salon. She truly cares about you and will always recommend what she thinks fits best for you. Nada takes amazing care of all her customers and provides the best value and services in the area! I have been going to this salon for over 4 years now and they have never disappointed me, the place is always super clean and they always take me in on time for my appointments. This is a really great Spa for anyone who is looking to get the best results with laser hair removal! I have only had a few sessions and already I see a great difference in my hair density and thickness! I've tried laser in the past, it was very painful and unpleasant. This feels quite like a massage,as long as you are shaved well. Nicole is really great at what she does and very knowledgeable in answering any and all of my questions! Do not waste your time here - rude and unprofessional owner. Even with a groupon, she wanted to charge tax on more than I paid, and said, "no one ever questions this." The tax difference after the discount must be absorbed by the business not the customer when it does not say so on the fine print. Then she made it a point to try to educate me, and said the same thing over and over, without empathizing with my concerns. Then she immediately jumped to, 'I'm giving you a refund, I don't need your business.' Please do not waste your time here. Very unprofessional.

I wish there was a zero star option. The owner was extremely disrespectful and rude. When I came in the salon today I wasn't aware they had a policy of wearing a mask. They let me in and half way through my pedicure the owner comes and starts yelling that I'm not wearing a mask. She claimed I came in with a mask and I took it off. I told her that wasn't the case. I was not wearing a mask to begin with.

Later I took a mask out of my purse and wore it. Lucky I had one because the owner claimed that she will charge me for a mask if I don't have one. The girls doing the service

Amazing experience overall! I have been going there for years with my daughter for laser appointments! The spa has impeccable cleanliness and organization. The staff is extremely friendly and give phenomenal service each time. As well the appointments always run on schedule without delay! Nada, the owner is extremely welcoming and makes you feel very respected! Nada is truly a business woman and is very knowledgeable about her craft. She ensures that her services are ran to the utmost degree! I would strongly recommend others to go to this salon!

Theres a lot of negative reviews for this place but seems like it's always based on the customer being wrong (customer is not always right) and coming late for appointments or not reading the fine print or misunderstanding

My experience here was really welcoming and and the owner was authoritative and DONT get me wrong she can come off as "rude" but I don't think she is it's just her personality she doesn't mean any harm UNLESS you start giving her attitude which if someone did to me I wouldn't be nice anymore either

Awful people
Gave me infection. Charged extra. Didn't have white nail polish. Blamed

Re: update pretty sure I got a fungus there too, being totally honest. Re: rude owner - I did not get French manicure there. I did not have gels nails or ask for gel I only had shellac. It took 3 hours to remove shellac on toes and put white shellac polish on.

My money basically stolen as I won't go back to get he manicure I purchased.

I am not surprised to read of the reviews on the Owner of this Salon.

She was extremely rude to me. I questioned my Groupon which was for a shellack Manicure and a regular Pedicure, or a Spa Manicure AND spa pedicure. On arrival I had already asked the gentleman, about the coupon and discussed which one I might want.

I received a spa pedicure and just a regular manicure. I questioned this with Alicia, who by the way was excellent and I would have gone back regularly to her. I asked to speak to the owner who came and yelled at me when I questioned what was on my Groupon and I was told

Owner Nada is rude and has absolutely no customer service. I have reported her on better business bureau for her disrespectful attitude. My appointment was cancelled on the basis that other people have called in to cancel. She began to yell at me on the phone for no reason, when I politely asked her why she was arguing with me she continued to yell at me. If you leave a bad review the owner will call you to make you change it by verbally abusing you. Zero stars isnt an option. Horrible customer service run by unprofessional owners. I got a laser hair removal package and they argued with me every time about what body parts I had included. Their employee turnover is high so every time you go you'll have someone new working on you and since they are so unorganized you're bound to have some body area missed. They dont follow the soprano instructions if how to to do each body part so inconsistent results that they will blame on you.

Update: called Toronto star to feature this business scam through Groupon so no future clients get scammed.

Groupon is aware of this and has escalated the matter to investigate.

Reasons to avoid this spa, from my own experiences and reading the reviews of others:

1. They will give you a hard time when using a Groupon (ex: saying they are fully booked, when they are not. Knowing that your Groupon will expire)

2. When you call to book an appointment, most of the time they will say that they are busy and to leave and name and number and someone will call you back.

3. They do not return your call.

4. The owner (Nada):
a. Is rude and loud.
b. Is extremely unprofessional.
c. Verbally attacks customers, on the phone and in her spa.

I usually get the groupon for a manicure or the afternoon getaway. I have had good experiences with the people who work here and they are very good at their job.

I recently got their laser package and it is an extremely good deal. I would recommend it to everyone.

The only issue I have is sometimes, the service at the front desk is not the nicest or the best. It feels we are being talked down to. Otherwise, it is a great place to go.

Got a Groupon for $35, super great deal and the staff is great! Was hesitant to come after reading reviews but I was delightfully surprised. Check them out.

I haven't even used any of their services and I'm giving this place a negative review for the MAJOR LACK of customer service, compassion, and friendliness. I work at two businesses that are on each side of this salon and one morning, I was rushing to work and realized my nail polish wasn't presentable..after being too far from a shopper's or anywhere else I can buy remover, I decided to walk into this salon and see if they can help me.

I walked in, wasn't even greeted but given a rude glare by from what I realized after reading all the other negative reviews, this was

This is actually the first time I have ever posted a review for anything.
I made an appointment two weeks in advance. When I arrived on time I still had to wait for one hour! The owner is extremely rude not only to the customers but to her employees as well. She did not say sorry for the wait, she simply did not care. While I was getting my manicure done she was very rudely telling her employee not to get any nail polish on the towel because they were new.
I have never met such an awful business owner in my life! I will be sure to let everyone know about this place and I will never return.

The welcome at the front desk was not very warm. Although the young girl who did my nails was very nice, I dont think she was very experienced. The top coat she used was different for either hand so my shellac manicure ended up shiny on the right hand and matte on the left- not too impressed. Also when it was time to leave the cashier disappeared so I had to wait for a long time and they couldn't provide me with exact change or a receipt. Don't think I would make the trip there again.

About 2 weeks after i wrote my review on 221 degrees spa, I received a phone call from Nadia, the owner of the spa. She seemed very upset (although she insisted she wasn't yelling at me) that I would write such terrible things about her business without consulting her first. Here are some highlights from her rant:
