Dr. Covey graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he completed his four year program, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. Prior to that, he attended Bob Jones University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine. Dr. Covey's love and passion is his family.

Excellent staff,& friendly service. Really feels like a comfortable place, with your spinal health always in best interest. Dr. Covey sincerely cares about his patients,& provides fantastic chiropractic care. This was a last hope for me,& the improvement i’ve seen within myself is incredible. Very pleased with New Freedom Chiropractic and Dr. Covey’s genuine care about clients, not just dollar signs! Definitely recommend it!

Arrive in the office for my appointment and there are anti covid vaccination videos playing on a loop. Sad to see this is the messaging
Going out in a waiting room of mostly vulnerable elderly people. Dr. David enters the room and asks me if I would like him to wear a mask, naturally I said yes. For a clinic so focused on preventive care I'm saddened to see that the practice takes a stand against the most successful public health prevention: vaccination. Never going back. Stay safe all.

ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL WHEN IT COMES TO PATIENT CARE AND LACK OF ETHNIC DIVERSITY
I was a patient at New Freedom Chiropractic (NFC) a few years ago. Although it has been a while, the experience was so very negative that whenever I pass in front of the establishment, I feel nauseated. This is what happened this evening, so I am hoping that writing this review brings me some relief.
Prior to attending New Freedom Chiropractic, I had been to chiropractors in other cities. They LISTENED to me. I chose NFC because at the time, Dr. Covey had a radio show, and I figured that he must be knowledgeable

I had a very bad back for almost 2 weeks and I called for an appointment. i was told I would get treatment when I came in. i went in and they told me that they would take x-rays and that Dr.Covey would examine me. They did x-rays and then Dr.Covey came in and started pressing his fingers up and down my neck and spine. He was dictating to his… assistant everything he was finding. When he was done he asked me to come back in 2 days. I asked for an adjustment to ease my back pain. He refused and said he wouldn't adjust my neck or back until he looked at the x-rays and made a plan for treatment

My wife went after seeing the Facebook ad for $21 X-ray +first treatment. When she came home she had this paper and highlighted was she had to attend this consultation with her spouse to discuss her health.
When we arrived there was 4 other people also attending. It lasted 2.5 hours was a mix between Chiropractic information and religious sermon. Being an Atheist I was not impressed but still kept an open mind as this was for my wife's health.
After the long sermon he took everyone individually to speak about their case. This is where I was NOT impressed.

No face mask on employees? Booked a first appointment. called in saying I'll be 5 mins late, she said it's totally fine. I was on the bus. I am severely in pain. I got there and got told sorry you will have to reschedule. very frustrating. could have told me when I called. As I was there people were walking in and out within 5 mins, shows the kind… of care you will get. I have turned down many chiro for this reason. Big speech about how they'll make it all better. you pay 65$ a visit get there gives you a quick back, neck and hip adjustments. calls it a day. Scam!!!!

Went for an initial visit at New Freedom Chiropractic this morning, walked out due to having an anxiety attack. I did not feel safe here. None of the patients or staff were wearing masks. After asking about their mask policy, I was told their Dr. is following guidelines as outlined by their college, that masks are not mandatory but Dr. Covey would… be wearing one. Adjustments are conducted in a large room, behind a divider wall with half a dozen patients waiting for their turn on the other side.
Isn't it common knowledge that my mask is basically useless unless everyone else in the room

I came to New Freedom Chiropractic in March off 2018. Since then, My overall health has improved. I can see a difference in my posture, the positioning of my head from where it was. I am even able to stand longer, without as much pain as before. If anyone were to ask me, would I recondmend Chiropractic Care, I would whole heartedly say yes.

The staff is extremely pleasant and I always leave with a smile on my face. They are always flexible in terms of working out with schedule and changes of time. I like that I receive reminders both e-mail and on the phone. Great financial plan in place that helps me get the best care I need without feeling worried. I am now at once a week in my chiropractic adjustments and so the travelling time is not a big deal. I am very pleased with the results and will continue my care with New Freedom Chiropractor.
