I booked the romance package at the spa for my fiancé and I ere. First, all the staff were extremely friendly, and everything here was very clean. Id never been to a spa and was treating my fiancé for her birthday. We first had a 50 minute massage with Adolfo and Poon. Both were awesome and focused on areas we needed more. When they finished we weren't told to stay in the room until the next treatment; no big deal. We then had Stephanie and Agnes for Reflex w/Marma and aroma. Great experience! Again both fantastic. After that both ladies did our pedicures and again did a great job. Thank

I recommend Jolene but NOT Holtz Spa.
My sister got married in April and chose Holtz Spa to do the bridal party's makeup. It was a great experience which led me to choosing Holtz Spa for my own big day at the end of October.
I booked our appointments well over 2 months in advance to ensure plenty of notice for staffing purposes. There were 5 of us… in total - me, my 3 bridesmaids (including my sister married in the spring) and my mom. I even phoned 3 days prior to confirm appointments and staffing, and was reassured they would be ready for us.
The 5 of us sat down as our hair appointments

Came for an 80 minute couples massage - it was ok, but not great. For the price, it was definitely well below my expectations. I'm not sure I would come back for a massage at that price.
We had a scheduled time and the massage didn't begin until 15-20 minutes after. It's gorgeous and clean inside but the massages were just alright. Because of the price and reviews, I was expecting something more.
The ambiance of Holtz Spa is wonderful, the peppermint tea after the massage was great, and I really enjoyed the staff. I do not think Holtz Spa is a 2 star business but my first massage

Always enjoy coming to the spa for facials here. I am so happy I found a place finally that I trust for my facials and also uses the same product line I am already using - babor. The spa lounge is super relaxing. Come a bit early to enjoy complimentary tea or coffee! They also have lockers to store personal belongings if you want. This isn't always offered so if you are wanting to truely get into the feel of being at the spa ask to change into a robe and slippers and lock your stuff up in one of the lockers. Facials are reasonably priced and are not just relaxing but work well for my skin

I love the services offered at Holtz spa. Their staff is very nice, I had a great experience with Robin last time i went to get my nails done. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you feel pampered and relaxed while there. Products are top notch quality too! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves to a spa day.

I got a deep tissue massage from Barska (I hope I'm spelling her name right). It was wonderful she was so kind and so sweet and so caring that I really enjoyed the massage and was able to truly relax. My neck, back and shoulders had essentially tightened completely up and it was very difficult for me to move or get comfortable than sitting or lying down. Barska Worked very hard to calm my neck back and shoulders down and I was able to leave with some range of motion and feeling much better than I did when I walked i work very hard to calm my neck back and shoulders down and I was able to leave

I booked an ART massage. But before we started, Jessica, my massage therapist properly explained what it was because it was neglected during my booking. We switched it to a regular massage. I also appreciated that she offered suggestions to lessen the pain I feel in my soles. She described how each sole felt. Frankly, it was the massage I needed.
The place is spotless and beautiful. The service is ok. I don't expect them to be catering to my every whim, but when it comes to paying for services, they could consider having 2 available cash registers on a busy Saturday!

Was in Ottawa for a conference and suffering from really tight neck and shoulders. My hotel reco'd Holtz and I wasn't disappointed. I booked the Indian Head Massage since it focused on all my tense areas. Begum was my masseuse and she was fantastic, left feeling so relaxed and muscles felts great. I'd go back for sure if in Ottawa again.

So, I came in for a massage and was not expecting to feel like a million bucks coming out of it! My therapist, Catherine? was incredible! I went for the fusion massage and she incorporated what my body needed including: craniosacral tenchniques, reiki and deep tissue massage. I have been under a lot of stress and she was able to re centre me. Trust me, It's worth it! She certainly will calm you down. You don't need to believe in any of it, just experience it at least once !

Ok! Holtz Spa you have redeemed yourself.
I called yesterday and told the lady on the phone about my issue with the hair colour and cut. I was informed that I could come in tomorrow and she'd take a look at it.I wasn't sure what that meant, whether or not they'd give me a discount on my next visit, not do anything, etc.
I went in, the stylist I had last time and the manager spent a good 20 minutes deciding which colour would go best with my hair, they wanted to make sure it matched my extensions perfectly without fading this time. Despite the fact it was a complaint I was coming

I had a great experience here at the Holtz Spa. A friend bought me a massage for my birthday here.
The massage therapist that I had was really friendly and bubbly. She definitely made my experience great! I guess a lot of the staff have multiple functions in this spa, so I would definitely go back if I knew I could have her for a manicure or pedicure.
The atmosphere was very relaxing, nice music, good scents and an overall feeling of calm. You can head next door after to have a nice healthy lunch too.

While this is certainly an elegant place, and definitely does provide 'a quiet sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate' as it advertises, the price does not match the experience.
Located in the heart of the byward market, apparently this is a favourate for the city's elite. The prices are certainly fit for the elite!
I was willing to let this pass and was ready to experience a high-class massage. Unfortunately they mixed up my request/order and gave me a pedicure instead of a massage! When this was corrected, the massage was given half-heartedly. All in all, this was not a good experience
