At Hunter Dental in Markham, our caring team of dental professionals take pride in providing exceptional patient care. Satinder (Sandi) has been at the practice for over 12 years. She began as Dr. Hunter's dental assistant, then moved on as our restorative coordinator and has now been promoted to Restorative Coordinator and Scheduling Manager.

The story of our building begins around 1860. Learn the history of the many owners and businesses that 34 Main Street in Markham has known before becoming home to our Hunter Dental clinic. Upon his retirement, the house was purchased by a medical doctor. Dr. Doherty ran his practice from here, and also opened a drugstore, which flourished until 1887.

The visit was great. At no time did I view anything that made me feel uncomfortable. I was directed right into the examination room where the room had been thoroughly disinfected and there was an air cleaner running at all times. As always the staff was friendly and efficient. Natalie was great as usual and always makes sure I am ok!

The day I visited, Dr Hunter wasn’t there. The clinic is warm and clean throughout.
Kelly was very kind to help me fill out the form. The hygienist (Marta?) who x-rayed and clean my teeth did a very thorough job.
However, I have only a minor comment related to the appointment reminder message sent to my cell phone: It first asked me to confirm the appointment, then followed by a long message asking if I have covid symptoms, then asked me to confirm by typing “Y”. I was hesitant to type “Y” as it may mean yes to having covid symptoms.
Perhaps the message would be clearer

I've been a patient here for 25 years or longer. From the front dental support staff, to the assistants and hygienists (I especially love Marta who is so great with me and my severe dental anxiety), to Dr. Hunter. I commute an hour one way to remain as a patient here after moving from Markham over 18 yrs ago. They really listen and hear you here.

Very lovely clean office with friendly staff! They have very high tech equipment and my teeth left feeling and looking better than ever. Bravo to my hygienist Natalie! She was very kind and is very good at what she does! Thank you also to Doctor Hunter. He made sure I left informed on how to take care of my teeth and jaw moving forward. I definitely will be going back. If you need a great dentist in Markham, look no further than Hunter Dental.

First class experience and the dental technician Sabrina is excellent! Such a pleasure to have her for the majority of the appointment as her knowledge is extensive and her approach is so kind and approachable that it was so easy to be in that chair. Dr. Hunter is friendly and quick and concise - a positive experience once again. Sabrina at reception is professional and kind and helpful. I highly recommend than all!!!
