I’m a new client to this salon and stylist and I’m over the moon happy with my whole experience!!! The receptionist was phenomenally professional and answered all my questions. Juli my stylist was AMAZING! She… took the time to listen to what I wanted, she made excellent recommendations and gave me the best hair colour, foils and haircut. I called to get nail dip removed and get a mani pedi - Ang was wonderful and my nails look great. While I was there I watched Mai, the owner, color and cut hair. I was in a jam for a performance and asked if she could get me in. She’s really a wonderful and talented woman. My hair looks incredible and she fussed so much. Couldn’t be more happy and found my new beauty people

We used to go here ALL the time before covid for monthly pedis. We went here last month for manis and pedis and it was awful. The woman who did my manicure talked on the phone through her ear buds the entire time, the second person in my party was sat far away from me for literally no reason, there were plenty of open spots next to me.
My nails were absolutely wrecked because they filed them down so thin, as they’re growing out there is a clear difference in thickness between new growth and what they filed them down to which is awful and brittle.

The nail tech I had gave me exactly what I asked for. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The pricing was fair. The only complaint I had is that the nail technician did not apply the polish from the base of my cuticle so they gave an already grown out look. Other than that I totally recommend.

It's been a few years since I was here and thought I'd treat myself to a cut. I called to book a cut and discussed the pricing. My appointment was with Riley but on the day of said appointment was sick so Sarah ended up cutting my hair. Everything was fine until I got home and checked my receipt, I was charged for long hair. Well that's fine if I ended up with long hair in the end. But I didn't. My hair is above my shoulders. No one mentioned that I could have saved myself $11 if I would have chopped off my hair to where I wanted it. Shouldn't the long hair fee apply if

My nephew's wedding was on Dec.28th and my sister booked an appointment for my updo here at Melange. I cannot say enough about how much I LOVED my hair! My stylist was Juli and from minute one she made me feel very comfortable.
I had prepared my hair beforehand by washing it without conditioner and then adding a little mouse and making sure that it was completely dry. I brought along a reference photo, and then we discussed what I felt I really liked about it and how she could adapt it to my hair type and face shape. The entire process

Loved visiting Melange Salon & Spa! I've been wanting to find a new stylist for a while and I was lucky enough to get my hair cut & coloured from Jeff. He was extremely professional, took his time and offered advice on what would look good on me. During the entire process Jeff moved with confidence and ease making me feel comfortable in his chair. I have been going to Melange for over a year now and am very pleased with this salon! Christina does my cut and color, and she does a beautiful job. I have long blond hair, and I'm thrilled to say she's never given me leapard spots, or "bleed through" spots when doing low lights and highlights. Great products (Kevin Murphy) and great proximity to my home!

I have been coming here for a while now. I have extremely thick hair, and this is the only place I have found in Edmonton that actually knows how to cut and show me how to reproduce the style without my hair looking like a mushroom. I am always pleased every time I go. To top it off, the staff are super friendly and are just ace. Highly recommend this place!
