The owner of the salon cut my hair, and the end result was a completely uneven haircut. I even requested that he try to make my haircut appear more even just as he was completing the haircut, and reluctantly he made a few more snips with his scissors in a feckless effort to try to satisfy my request, but his lapse effort actually made the haircut worse. Rest assured, I won't be returning, and his apathetic attitude towards my dissatisfaction with my haircut angered me even more.

I went into P&H salon feeling very disappointed with my bland brown hair and I left feeling like a GODDESS. Paolo made it his goal to fix my hair and he went beyond my wildest dreams. Even though I made an appointment, I had to wait for my stylist while she went for a smoke break. The stylist came to do my hair with a stink of smoke which i found to be very unprofessional. The oder made this experience unpleasant as I had to endure the strong cigarette smell throughout the haircut.

I came in with fried and bleached blonde hair after a different salon made critical errors. My hair was a one shade of pure yellow and Paolo and his team took such amazing care of me. He not only transformed my hair into an amazing blonde with high/lowlights, he also gave my hair an amazing treatment to restore some health. Really disappointed with the HORRIBLE experience I had at P&H. It was my first time there and I just needed a quick cut, no colour, which the website said would be $45-$55. They started by washing my hair, without indicating that this could be an added cost. The stylist did not seem well trained and ended up cutting bangs into my hair which I definitely did not request. She then tried to make it better by curling my hair, which somehow made it look worse.

Hi, went to P&H to get my hair styled and my make-up for my son's wedding on August 20, 2016.
I've never had so many compliments on my hair and make up in my life. The staff really know what they are doing and it's worth the time (took a wee bit longer than I expected).

My stylist cancelled on my appointment for a bridal party upstyle 15 minutes after it was supposed to start. Be warned before entrusting this salon with an appointment for a special occasion.
The stylist's cancellation came after the salon's staff assured me she was "on her way" and "2 minutes away" when I became concerned that the appointment was starting late. I was told she had a family emergency, but she later came in and I overheard her telling a colleague she wasn't feeling well. At no point did she approach me to explain what happened or apologize.

What can I say about Paulo and the P&H Salon?. I have been a client of Paulo's for years before the salon existed. I have short hair and don't trust anyone with my edgy style & colour. He never disappoints and always makes time to accommodate me and my busy schedule - (as I need to be cleaned up every 4-6 weeks). Went to this salon for the first time on Saturday November 19th, 2016. I had my hair & makeup done by the beyond talented Judana. I was so happy with both! I looked AMAZING for my party. I highly recommend Judana; you will not be disappointed. The salon had a great vibe, the staff interacted well with one another; like a family. I would like to commend the owner on kindly helping me out one evening. At the time I worked at a location two doors down.While doing a client's hair, to my terrible surprise, I had a hairmergency-or maybe I should say a colourmergency. Any way, I needed purple colour stat. I did laser hair removal at P&H and got completely disappointed. After more than a year of sessions every month - I ended up with no result whatsoever, my hair still grows just as it used to before the treatment. I literally wasted my money and time...Moreover, the staff wasn't helpful at all. In the end I was told that "my hair is not the type that can be removed with laser" and "sorry they didn't warn you in the beginning!". Unfortunately, I just got back from the hairdresser and looked in the mirror. I went in, asking for layers that would give shape but unfortunately got a straight cut without any shaping. The hairdresser tried to shape it up, while my hair was dry but she made it worse as not my hair is all over the place. She put curls into my hair to kind of hide the real cut so when I got home it looked even worse. The curls have basically disappeared from my walk home (10min) and it was straight!

I had the best experience last week with Fabrizio. I was recommended to see him through a friend and was a bit nervous because I hadn't had anything done to my hair in quite some time other than do-it-at-home root touch ups for my black hair. I mentioned to him that I wanted something to give my hair some depth and dimension and make it look not so flat. I have been getting my hair done with Eric for the last few years now. Before that, ever since my previous stylist moved away from Toronto, I have been bouncing from salon to salon for years, never happy with any particular stylist, until I found Eric here. He is not the most senior stylist here. But he is very good, and knows how to do things just right. I am always impressed by how well he attends to my endless requests. Sometimes taking way more than the hour that we booked to do my hair exactly the way I want it. I highly recommend him.

Paolo, the very charming owner, contacted me after reading my review. He was very concerned that I wasn't happy with my hair and begged me to let him fix it, free of charge. He didn't seem at all concerned with the negative review, just that I wasn't happy with my hair.
He just fixed it for me - tons of blonde highlights. I LOVE IT. I AM A BOMBSHELL.

1- Erik totally burnt my hair with the bleach or whatever he put in my hair (have visited him for 3 times and each time is worse)
2- his cuts are horrible
3- gets nervous and defensive (subtly of course) when I suggest something different or show what is actually obvious (that the highlights are horribly done)
4- very loud music + workers (especially the ladies) sit there chat so loud makes you get nervous!
5- very bad with keratin and they don't know how to do it. they just pretend so that they take money.
Please avoid!

Had a haircut there recently and LOVED IT!! I've been to many place in Toronto and GTA and I'm pretty picky and skeptical when it comes to getting my haircut. Even a small trim! Eric cut my hair and did an amazing job. I'm in love with my hair. He really knew what he was doing!
The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Took my jacket and escorted me where to go.
I will say they need to change their music. It's outdated, slow and boring. It would have also been nice if someone offered a tea or something.

I've been with Brie ever since she made the first cut (it's been nearly 4 years). She listens and executes the perfect haircut every single time I see her. I am extremely, extremely picky with my hair but I always walk out feeling VA VA VOOM. Everyone in that salon is extremely talented and inviting but Brianne is my absolute favourite!

The groupon did not provide the service it said it would, and I was only told once I was in the seat. Their definition of straightening is apparently a keratin straightening treatment that they claim keeps your hair straight for 4 months, but actually only smooths frizz and you still need to straighten everyday. Blatant deception.
They charged me 80 dollars for a dry hair cut (do people even do that?).
