My car produced noise and I sent it to Strong Automotive to check and repair. They rebuilt the steer gear and charged me $1100. When I took the car and still in their parking lot, I found it still has noise, quite loud. I stopped the car and asked them. The guy told me he noticed that and he did not know what was that; it could be due to the car sitting there for a few days. That was not true. I left the car with them for about 30 hours. They fixed my air suspension for my BMW X5. It works now!!!!! I spent a fraction of the cost to replace. Only took these guys 1 hour!!!!!!!! These guys are honest, and highly efficient. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
2021 Update: So BMW said my air suspensions were actually ruptured. So I had to replace them. O wells. I still give 5 stars to Strong Automotive though. They did everything I asked.

Terrible experience at this place. I took my 2018 car to get a Safety Standards Certificate and was told the rotors were rusted and had to be changed otherwise the certificate could not be issued. Needless to say I did not allow them to change the rotors but instead took the car and disassembled it over the weekend and thoroughly cleaned both rear rotors with brake cleaner and removed any sign of rust so I could take it back and get my certificate issued. I asked him if I brought it back with clean rotors I would get my certificate and the answer was yes.

If you are happy to spend double the price (vs. Canadian Tire) WITHOUT any warranty (not even for one day) and still NOT solving your car problem, this is the perfect place to go! They charged me $290 for checking and fixing ignition problem, the next day my car didn’t start again because they didn’t find the real problem, this costed me $180+ to rent a car for a weekend trip and $50 to jump start so that I could drive back to TELL THEM what the problem was. They did not admit their mistakes and insisted on charging another $200 to fix it, I argued for over 30 minutes and had to give up due

My friend and I brought a car in with a nail in her tire looking to get it plugged. These guys told us the tire was unrepairable and that we'd have to buy a new tire worth $300 to $400. We left and got a second opinion, they pulled out the nail (which hadn't even punctured the tire) and the tire was fine didn't even need a plug. They thought they could scam us into buying something we didn't even need just because we were 2 females who they assumed didn't know enough to get a second opinion. If you're female and going alone do NOT trust these guys. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I had the team at Strong look at my car after noticing a noise after having work done by another mechanic. They were able to confirm the work done was satisfactory and diagnosed the noise. They were honest and said I did not need to worry about any additional fixes at this time (as long as the noise did not bother me) as the noise was not due to a safety issue. They also did this as a courtesy and did not charge me. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to this shop in the future. They are professional, accurate and honest.

I noticed one of my wheels was hot and heat was coming off the rim after driving. I took it to Strong Automotive because it was conveniently located for me and my brother recommended this shop in the area. They diagnosed the problem as a sticking calliper and recommended I change both sides. I had to leave my car overnight as they didn't have enough time to change the callipers that day, which I was okay with. They quoted me $180 per calliper and $120 for labour. Not sure if this is reasonably priced because I didn't have time to take it anywhere else. Staff was nice and helpful. Would

Super convenient for me, as it is right around the block. My wife's car wouldn't start, and I tried jumping it, no luck. We had the car towed here. Turns out it was a shorted battery that needed replacing. I asked for an oil change as well, and the engine air filter also needed replacing. Total with labour came to about $290.
