My family and I started coming to this clinic a few years ago. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. The clinic is clean and usually appointments run on time. Dr Pennington is friendly and knowledgeable .My regular hygienist, Tamara is very thorough and does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. She is a real people person always makes me feel comfortable with easy going conversations while she cleans my teeth. She is an excellent hygienist. Highly recommend.

I've been a patient here for many years and I've never had any concerns. The place was always super clean, the staff friendly, everything was great. The last couple of months though things have really gone downhill and fast. They've made so many changes at the front. Even during a pandemic suddenly they made the waiting room way, way smaller, seats are almost stacked on top of each other, it's like they want people to get sick. It's not safe, why would they make these changes during a PANDEMIC? Everyone else wants more room to distance and they shrink the waiting area? On top of this, they can

Amazing service, super friendly staff, and the dentist takes the time to actually explain the x-rays and what they mean. They also always take the time to ask how I'm doing as a person, and not just what concerns I have about my dental health, which I appreciate!
I first started going to this clinic because it was within walking distance, but even after moving, it's worth the long commute to come back!

We chose this dental practice somewhat randomly ("nearby") a few decades ago when we moved to Burnaby, and we have been very happy we did. though our much-appreciated Dr McCaffrey retired, Dr Schmidt has been a good replacement. i appreciate that i can stay with the same hygienist for every appointment. their communication is clear and they made it easy to book for the whole family over the years. we have been happy to have been able to refer a few friends to the practice.

I had a great experience with a wonderful hygienist, Tamara, when I went in for just a regular cleaning. She listened to what was important to me and exceeded my expectations! She was gentle, caring and could tell that she loved her profession. Not only did she teach me how to floss properly, but also taught me how to floss the GAPS in between my teeth, which NO other dentists had taught me! I now know what those little brushes are used for!
I had some tarter and she made sure they were all scraped off and my teeth were glistening white at the end. No, I didn't get the whitening service done!

I love my dentist Dr Pennington. He’s amazing, he’s very thorough and patient. Alice is my favorite hygienist. She’s upbeat, happy and always explains everything completely so I’m kept in the loop the whole time.
My only complaint would be Natasha. I’m not going to deduct any stars because of one person, however I do hope my comment is taken seriously and she can improve on her customer service experience.
I’ve had her check me in at the door my last 2 visits and she could really use some tweaking of how she greets you coming into the clinic. She comes across very abrasive and confrontational

I normally do not like going to the dentist because I have 0 tolerance to pain, but Dr Milani & staff took such care with me I did not feel any discomfort. Dr Milani is a wonderful, professional, caring dentist. I highly recommend her! The complete North Bby office staff are amazing, they go out of their way to accommodate and are sincere & kind. Dr Houchmand has been my dentist for over 15 yrs, he is the best dentist I have ever had! He will always explain everything in detail, review all options with you helping you make an educated decision about what's best not only for your teeth but your wallet too and the best part I don't think I have ever felt a needle put in by him or had pain after a procedure! Had a bit of an emergency today and they were quick to squeeze me in. I was in a lot of pain prior to my visit and a little grumpy. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and it really helped me in my current situation. I even left with a smile on my face. Kelsey and Sharon really helped me out and made sure I had everything I needed. Everyone made sure I understood everything too which calmed my nerves.

We are patients of North Burnaby Dental Group for ten years. Their services are simply outstanding. Our Dentist Dr. #Huchmand has saved several situation, before they become very expensive. We appreciate that he isn't only about money. He delayed the need for crowns or implants with lesser costly fixes till for us to plan and save up funds.
He understands how to deal with patients and costly situations.
I like his voice, to me a dentist without an pleasant voice is a no no.

The best dental team ever, and I lived in 12 civilized countries. Dr Huchmand our dentist for near ten years and Jeff our hygienist are truly outsanding. Never concerned about pain is never and issue and our gums have improved dramatically to no more bleeding. And they do understand the financial issued normal people may have to save on major dental works or plan for it. V & M North Burnaby
