We also offer grief and loss training to professionals who deal with clients experiencing grief and loss. LTLC provides Individual Counselling and Closed Therapy Groups for those experiencing stress due to life change or loss.

LTLC offers professional grief counselling and emotional support to anyone who is experiencing stress due to life change or loss. Living Through Loss Counselling offers counselling by appointment only. The majority of our counselling is done in person, but we also offer counselling by telephone and email.
In association with Living through Loss Counselling Society of BC, the Vancouver Center for Loss & Bereavement offers Grief and Loss Training for Professionals. My team and I are so grateful we had the opportunity to take the Level 1 course. The material and resources provided were so thorough yet practical and not overwhelming.

For many people, the resulting feelings of loneliness, sadness, fear and abandonment are overwhelming, and one's identity, self-esteem and sense of purpose in life may also suffer.Over a six week period participants will explore through lectures, sharing and written exercises, group members how to adjust to the pain of loss, restore their self-esteem, and regain hope and energy for the future.

Using a journal can ease the pain. Make your journal your best friend, you can pour your feelings out without fear of evaluation. Don't isolate yourself, share your pain with a compassionate person or find a counsellor with experience in grief and loss.
