Services
Our therapists bring to the work a wide range of training, experience and education. As a result Concordia Counselling offers a specialized level of experience to our clients that covers a diversity of topics. We provide therapeutic services to individuals (including children and adolescents), couples, families and groups.
One-to-one attention is provided in individual counselling where client and therapist work collaboratively in an atmosphere that is compassionate, supportive, and confidential. Therapeutic conversations allow clients to gain understanding and insight, while fostering the development of new skills to manage personal, family and social challenges.
At Concordia, we strive to build a community of professionals who provide the best possible service to their clients. We believe in empowering and supporting other clinicians to work ethically and effectively through clinical supervision. We provide a safe and collaborative environment where clinicians can find guidance, resources, and a place to consult about their work.
As Registered Clinical Counsellors in Vancouver (RCC), we meet the standards of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors by completing extensive academic training with a Master's degree and clinical supervision. An RCC must undergo a criminal record check and also have references from recognized mental health practitioners.
Lindsey is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. Over the years, she has worked successfully with children, teenagers, adults of all ages, couples, families and groups. Lindsey believes in working collaboratively with her clients and empowering them to make important changes in their lives.

Because of the nature of this business there are probably many people hesitant to post reviews online, but the single review currently posted is in no way indicative of our experience at Concordia, so I felt compelled to provide another perspective. Both Sandy and Lindsey are professionals whose work is results-focused, and have, in our experience, been very effective.

My son prior to being treated by Sandy hawkins was a loving, kind child who nwver spoke negatively or was spoken negatively to began to shows signs of distress. shortly afterseeing sandy his disposition changed. I believe Sandy hawkins and the legal society brainwashed my child. He is distanced now cannot process emotions and has regressed in his life. I thought counsellors were to help divorced parents and children but this woman and the legal team have financially caused me disrepair. I would strongly recommend nobody put their children in her care!!! She does not care about children if all she
