Took my cat to this vet and was took the he needed to be hospitalized or put down. I didn't have the money to put him in the hospital and putting him down wasn't an option so I took my baby home. The doctor told me that I had to make a decision or she was going to call social services for me. I didn't care because I was goin to do all I could for him. I nursed my baby back to health myself, two days later social services was at my door threatening me. After evaluating my cat they saw me was fine and closed the case. Never goin back here again. They made me pay 250.00 for a visit. 😒

I was referred here by a shelter after I adopted a cat. The vet I initially saw elsewhere said my cat had really bad stomatitis and would need all his teeth taken out, plus eardrops for an ear infection. But the quote they gave me was quite high. So I called the shelter about it to see if they knew and would cover it, and they said they would through one of their vets. I went to York Mills for a second opinion, and the general vibe was pretty good. Vet was really nice, place was clean, etc. and basically re-confirmed to the shelter the initial diagnosis. Had his teeth scheduled to be taken out

My kitty needed a neuter job done. I reached out to York Mills Animal Hospital, Nicole replied back "The approximate cost of the Neuter with possible tooth extraction will cost around $650.00, This includes the Examination, Pre-anesthetic bloodwork, surgery and anesthesia, pain relief, nail trim and tooth extraction." So I take my kitty in for the examination part (or so I thought), and they charged me $100 - they basically told me my cat was healthy. So I ask, is my cat ready to be neutured and what would the updated charges be, they told me $650, I was like, shouldn't the $100 be deducted off

We had to make an emergency appointment with the vet for our foster dog. They were so amazing to deal with over the phone and in person. They truly love animals and care for their well-being. I also overheard people praising them for doing phone consultations so people didn’t have to come in for minor issues! Our dog also was neutered here and they were so flexible with pick up/ drop off times

Although I've moved away from Toronto and out of the country years ago, I always preferred to deal with Amanda. She assisted me with the requisite documents to transport my cat Emmie to Australia. Although Emmie passed last October, I had a positive relationship with Amanda and would highly recommend her and her team.

This place is a rip off both the vet and specially the grooming you pay the highest price for the worst service of your life. I have two Pomeranians, after taking them to this place for grooming they look like rats I dont know who gave license to these people. If you love your babies, dont take them to this horrible place.

I really like the staff here! My cat, Ichabod, has visited twice and he probably isn't the biggest fan but what cat looks forward to being put in a carrier and transported to a strange land with unfamiliar scents?
Prior to Ichabod's first visit, he had peed on the living room rug. I assumed he was letting me and my bf know that we had wronged him in some way. When he peed again on the bathroom floor a couple of days later, I began googling and it led me to a website which planted the idea in my head that my cat might have a urinary issue. I basically Web MD-ed my cat and panicked so
