Services
Neuromotion Physiotherapy started off as a small clinic in Kerrisdale by the name West Boulevard Physiotherapy. It saw a mixed population of clients, anywhere from orthopaedic injuries to neurological conditions. In 2008, the therapists at West Boulevard Physiotherapy acquired a Lokomat system and with the vision of a clinic that utilizes innovative technology and specialized knowledge, Neuromotion Physiotherapy (Vancouver) was born.
We offer gait therapy on the Lokomat system at both our Victoria and Vancouver clinics. The Lokomat is a driven gait orthosis that automates or assists walking movements on a treadmill, allowing greater efficiency of treadmill training and reducing physical demand on therapists. Locomotion therapy on the treadmill has been shown to improve over-ground walking function caused by neurological diseases and injuries in many cases.
Please call our clinic. We try to answer all calls however, if we are busy with clients you may be put through to our answering machine. If that is the case, please leave a detailed message with your name, phone number, reason for seeking treatment and we will respond as soon as possible. In your email please include your name, phone number, reason for seeking treatment and we will phone or email you back soon as possible.
We have the future Canadian Champion training with us every week. Watch out world here comes Eden! During Eden's weekly sessions there is a game of Boccia booked in. He has definitely taken the game by storm and is defeating most of his challengers. Eden is a bit young to participate in this year's championships in Victoria but he is sure to be at upcoming events!
Our staff are united by their commitment to care and a drive to build community at Neuromotion. We are always on the look out for passionate practitioners wishing to work with the amazing clients that have suffered brain or spinal cord injuries. What makes Neuromotion unique is the community atmosphere, wherein staff, clients, and volunteers all work together to help the clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

I have volunteered at Neuromotion for almost a year now and have had a great experience here. All of the staff are always positive, encouraging, and motivating toward their clients to be the best they can. As a volunteer, I help staff with setting up clients in the Lokomat and assisting them in carrying out their treatment plans. I am fortunate to have gained valuable experience as a volunteer at Neuromotion, which will be huge for my goal to become a physiotherapist.

I love Neuromotion. I've been a client doing multiple weekly sessions for almost two years. They are the only place in the lower Mainland to have a Lokomat. It's a pretty sweet therapy tool, great for almost all abilities.
The staff are all well trained, knowledgable, and know how to keep it fresh.

My son has been going here for years now. The staff and volunteers are nice, but the place is very small and outdated. The don't have much equipment at all, the only thing they there is the Lokomat which they charge an arm and a leg ($170) per hour, but the most you can stay on is 30 minutes because it takes 30 minutes to setup. That price seems to go up every year, Maybe they should use the extra money to update their supplies because they never ever change the groin pads or tensor wraps which is very disgusting and Dirty because all the clients shares them. The mat work they do there is very
