Yarrow Physiotherapy & Acupuncture
Clients pay and rebook on the way out(this is to limit waiting room traffic, but you are welcome to phone to book as well). Through Western medicine the nature of illness or injury and the healing process are well understood. Eastern medicine explores the body's complex and profoundly interconnected energy systems which depend on a balance between nurturing (yin) and vigour (yang) to maintain health and well being.

A combined approach assures the speediest recovery possible. Engage the patient in the healing process through education and guidance in self management and progression of exercise programs. When booking your next appointment, we reserve that spot for you. Please put it in your agenda/calendar. Our courtesy reminder call/emails do not replace the responsibility to remember your appointments.
Services
Yarrow Physiotherapy and Acupuncture has been the first choice in sports physiotherapy, acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy in the heart of downtown Victoria since 1987. Our convenient central location in the banking, business and hotel district allows patients to book appointments in lunch hour, coffee breaks or after work.
Broughton Street Parkade is less than 100 feet from the clinic, and has an elevator but is not part of the municipal parking. Mid-day parking between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm can be limited on the street and in parkades. We recommend you consider being dropped off or using public transit. If you are driving to your appointment we can offer 1 hour free parking at the City of Victoria parking lots.
When booking their first appointment our new patients often have one of our therapists in mind, the name passed on by friends or family. If they are not sure, our receptionist will ask the nature of the injury and preferred therapeutic approach (sports &/or acupuncture, Cranial Sacral, etc.) to assist in placing the patients with the most appropriate practitioner.

I broke my tibia and fibula in my leg when I was younger, and as such my ankle joint is slightly compromised. Skateboarding for 11 years exacerbated the issue to the point where I believed it would never heal again. There was limited range of motion and pain in certain movements. Seeing Danielle O'Byrne at Yarrow gave me hope for a pain-free ankle with all the mobility back. Immediately after the treatment there was noticeably more range of motion and less pain. You don't have to live with the pain, try Yarrow!
