Transcona Dental Centre offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain healthy teeth. Soft Tissue lasers, recently introduced, provide for comfortable treatment of oral lesions and minor tissue recontouring. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dr. Rubin completed his undergraduate education at the University of Manitoba and graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in 1990 with the University Gold Medal.

A couple of years ago I slipped on some ice and broke 4 of my front teeth. I needed gum grafting surgery (for which I was given a great refferal) in addition to crowns and veneers. (A process that took almost 2 years to complete.) Dr. Rubin and all of the amazing staff made this difficult situation way more bearable. They were so lovely, empathetic and professional. They helped me with everything from a confusing insurance claim, to making me laugh throughout long procedures and just making me feel comfortable and safe within a pandemic. The best part? My teeth look better than they ever have!

Was a client here for many years with no issues, but after my last two visits I will be going somewhere else now.
The front staff have always been great, but the dentists there are getting more and more rude each time I go...You don't tell a customer to "hush up" when they are asking you questions about your bill and services, nor do you tell them how your teeth should feel if you aren't the person in pain. I haven't felt like a customer there dealing with a business. It feels more like being a patient at a doctor's office.
It's been a strange few months of declining professionalism there and

As a new client I I am very impressed with the service I received from Transcona Dental Center!
Dr. Strong is a friendly, highly-skilled dentist and I'm very happy with his work. His staff are also very friendly and accommodating to a tough schedule. While in the waiting room there were a few children that had some work done and we're waiting for their parent. They were laughing and giggling after their treatment! If you have a child that has anxiety issues over seeing a dentist I highly suggest you visit Doctor strong and his awesome team!

Was told because I missed one cleaning that I could only make same day appointments. Which they can’t accomodate. The lady at the front did not know her job at all and the staff was slow too accomodate. I had to pick my son up. It should take 2 minutes to book an appointment and she kept trying to book me in for a cleaning when I clearly wanted a cavity dealt with. Like can I not get a cleaning after my pain is handled. Talk about forceful tactics... I did like this place but this experience was terrible. They don’t understand that people have busy lives and it doesn’t revolve around them

Transcona Dental Centre has been professional from the moment I stepped into the door. The front office staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Appts are kept on time and my dentist and his assistant are very thorough in the work and explaining the steps throw the process. The dental hygienist was also very professional and thorough.

I have been going to Transcona Dental Centre for over 20 years. Dr. Strong, the hygienists and the receptionists are all top notch professionals. They are always knowledgeable about my dental history and ask if I’m experiencing the same issues as before or if any new issues have arisen. They are friendly, kind and caring and always attend to all of my dental needs. I know without a doubt that my teeth are in good hands. I would highly recommend Transcona Dental Centre.
