Literally means "treatment by hand". A chiropractor is highly trained to determine the cause of a patient's ailments and deliver the proper course of care. This care not only relieves symptoms but also works to alleviate the cause of pain. The chiropractic approach to better health is to detect, reduce and help prevent nervous system dysfunction by increasing joint mobility!
A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is a regulated health care professional. A RMT has completed two to three years of schooling. Some of the courses taken in these years of schooling are Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, Hydrotherapy, Pubic Health, Nutrition and Neurophysiology. In addition to completing our schooling a RMT needs to pass a written and practical exam to be registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
After a biomechanical and postural examination, our doctors of chiropractic will discern whether custom-made orthotics are a good treatment option for you. When biomechanical alterations of gait or the lower extremity are found custom- made orthotics can be used to correct or dampen the incorrect forces.

Friendly, professional and caring is the behaviour you’ll receive from the receptionists at Absolute Chiropractic. The massage therapist, Nigel is like no other. Knowledgeable and with healing hands, he will happily provide you with education and resources to continue the healing process at home. Free parking and direct billing for my insurance. I can’t ask for more.

The staff here are terrific, from the front line folks to the practitioners. Dr. Chris is my regular chiropractor and not only are the adjustments very helpful, but he's easy to talk to so you don't have the awkward silence while you're getting everything put back in place. They obviously care about the community around them with their Christmas toy drives and other events. If you're in the market for chiropractic or massage, this is a great place to make your own.
