I had scheduled an appointment for a massage and pedicure. I was on my way there when they called and said I was late. They had changed my appointment time without calling to confirm it with me. Only a text… message with the new time at the bottom. They had "no knowledge " of my appointment time being changed. The guy at the desk was very rude, disrespectful and insincere. They said they would only be able to do one service, not both, even though I was still expected to pay for both. They ended up giving me a half hour massage, even though I had paid for a full hour. I still got my pedicure

Lovely place. A spa, not just a salon. Massage and pedicure were both great - a relaxing day. But just as important, the people were all lovely. Mary's massage was great technique and perfect pressure but she checked in a few times along the way just to make sure. And Molly was delightful to chat with during the pedicure and she even pointed me to a fantastic local restaurant/brewery for dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon.

I have been a loyal costumer many many years... I will not consider going elsewhere! Staff is knowledgeable with the services and being trained in the newest trends and procedures to accommodate all of my spa needs! Very professional, clean, and welcoming! The girls that did the nails were sweet but the front desk ladies were so rude and they never explained over the phone that there would be a $20 fee for cancellations for each service so $40 for each girl... we ended up paying $160 in fees... ridiculous. never again... I dont see how anyone could get enjoyment out of such..... 0 stars. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD QUALITY... ALSO MY TOE NAIL POLISH CAME OFF AFTER 3 HOURS.... POOR POOR POOR. I will not be returning. You guys deserve nothing.

My 18 year old daughter won 2 gift certificates at a raffle. She wanted to use them before she left for college. She called and scheduled an appointment and asked if she could use the gift certificates and was told yes.
She went to her appointment and gave the certificates afterwards and was told that they would not accept one of them.
I feel they tool advantage a a young girl and charged her almost $100 even though she had a gift certificates. We called for the manager multiple times and received no response.
They took advantage of a young gal and ruined her last day before school. Shame on you

Wanted to lighten my hair a few shades and didn't want highlights because I don't like the way they look. I have light brown hair and wanted an ash blonde. The beautician gave me her recommendations and educated me a little about dimensions and she placed some highlights with my overall color and it turned out beautifully. I definitely trust her. She was quick and it was exactly what I wanted. The price was way less than what I expected also. I will keep going back to her. I asked her name so many times and I completely forget it!!

My husband called on a Monday and booked me a full package for that Saturday because Sunday was my birthday. I get there at 9:00 and they tell me my appointment was the following sat. I said someone must have made a mistake because my husband wouldn't book it for the following weekend. They said sorry there was nothing they could do for me. ( by the way I'm a new mommy so imagine how hard it was to get out of the house on time and leave my baby girl) So the manager calls my husband and instead of apologizing for the mixup, she puts the blame on him. I enjoy massage and have tried most of the local places. I've been to Coventina about 5 times for massage. Their massages are pricier then other local offerings. In my opinion, the experience of the therapists doesn't warrant the price.
Every time I go I get a young masseuse that is just out of the local massage therapy school. Four out of five times, their inexperience was evident. I did have an awesome massage there once. It's been my experience that if you get a good massage there, you got lucky.
I've never tried the salon so I can't speak for those services.

I'm rating this spa based upon the experience both my mom and I had coming here. We each had the Green Goddess package that included a 60 min aromatherapy massage, a 20 min aloe wrap, and a body scrub/Vichy shower. I had only had one massage in the past and was nervous to realize that both of us had males that were going to give us the massages (thinking the pressure would be too hard and be painful). Just tried this spa again for a message and time after time it's disappointing. I told the girl I didn't want a deep tissue yet she continued to ignore. I explained what I wanted which was a Swedish but work out the knots and she could use whatever pressure then. It was so hard I think I said over 5 times to lighten up. Then the massage was so systematic, up and back but so quickly. It's like she was counting the amount of times she did one motion then did the same. It was not relaxing at all. I love this place! It's in the perfect location out in the country and just so peaceful! The staff is so polite! I have not run into any problems with them. I've only gotten nails and waxes here. But if you get a pedicure get the premier, it does cost a little extra but you won't regret it. Your feet will come out looking and feeling great! My favorite part of the treatment is the paraffin wax! Which leaves your feet soft and callas free! The polish does stay on for quite awhile. Every time I come home from school for the summer I look forward to coming here!

I have been going to Coventina for 5 or 6 years now and will continue to go while I live in Erie. I have gone to a bunch of spa's around town and continue to find myself going back to Coventina. Although the location is a little bit outside of town, it is well worth the drive. The staff are all very accommodating and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is consistent and always top notch. I even have a nail salon right next to my office that is less expensive, but every time I go get a shellac, the polish chips within 10 days. When I go to Coventina, it ALWAYS lasts for 3
