Big Springs Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a locally owned and operated business that has served Airdrie, Alberta and surrounding areas since 1980. We have been providing plumbing and heating services to private homes and commercial properties for 40 years and we are a full service company specializing in residential and commercial repairs, renovations, and new installations.
From its origin, Big Springs has consistently been family owned and operated. It began as a small home based business in 1980 with one Owner/Operator, Gus Gauthier, primarily servicing small town Airdrie. It wasn't until the mid-90's that Gus's oldest sons started to work for the company. All four of Gus's sons obtained their plumbing and gas tickets while working for the family business.

Proud to serve Airdrie, AB and surrounding districts since 1980 as a family owned and operated business. After doing a market survey we are pleased to report that our business consisted of over 70 % repeat customers and 15 % referrals. The remainder of our business comes from other marketing initiatives.
We have had Big Springs Plumbing work on our house and our business, and have been pleased every time. Their quotes are reasonable and they always work within our needs, and listen to our ideas. We believe in supporting the businesses in our community, and our church. We recommend Big Springs Plumbing, and we will definitely choose them if we have future plumbing or heating needs.
Big Springs has always been a Big contributor to local charities, fundraisers, events, and the needs of the community. As a celebration of our 40th year in business we wanted to create our own initiative that allowed us to give back to our customers and to the amazing community of Airdrie, AB in Big ways.

We had no hot water 1 week before Christmas and needed our boiler replaced. Matt, Mike, Kurtis and Mason came out several times and had everything installed and working by Dec 23rd. All were very professional and friendly! We appreciated the prompt response and reasonable price very much!! We highly recommend BSP and will use them again!

I called the Big Springs plumbing and heating based on the reviews and I was very disappointed. I called made appointment for tech to come give us estimate for the AC and no one showed up on the day of the appointment and I called again thr lady pick up the phone wasn’t really serious about my inquiry and took my information again and that’s about it nothing happened. Horrible customer service. I Found another company else who came on time and gave me a better deal for the AC.
