I can not praise dr. Daniel, dr. Vinny and the staff enough! After going to several vets and being given the wrong diagnosis for my Bowie, Dr. Daniel actually took the time and properly evaluated her. That was 6 years ago! The whole team works diligently to keep Bowie healthy, they are honest and are always so kind! I happily drive 45 minutes each way to see them and recommend Caledonia vet to everyone. The only practice I trust To treat Bowie!

Everyone cares about your animal. They treat you like family. They take time to explain everything to you. Strong recommend them.

They genuinely care about our pets unlike most of these other, corporate owned vet clinics who want a buck. Dr. Vinny is the greatest as are the other doctors, vet techs and staff.

My pup was heading in here for his first ever vet appointment. I was nervous they were not allowing pet parents in like every other vet in the area but I was referred here so took a chance. My phone consult with the vet left an even worse feeling and at one point I asked the vet if maybe we weren’t a good fit. She became very condescending when I… didn’t fall for her upsells of non mandatory vaccines. My pet my choice. I explained to her that I was willing to get them but was not going to be loading his body with everything she had to throw at him all at once in one visit. Then

Pushing people to declaw their cats. This is a cruel practice that is banned in many areas of the country and the rest of the world.

Been taking our 14 yr old pup here since 2008, the last couple years not impressed with service vs cost. My recent visit invoice was $680.14 for blood work, urinalysis, heartworm test and physical exam. When I calmly inquired re bill vs quoted cost and wanted a breakdown I was told by vet V, that if "I was worried about nickel and diming we I should probably not own a dog!?!?!" Checked with another vet who confirmed charges were excessive. What aTERRIBLE thing to say!

Quotes a price and almost doubles it after the fact. And because of covid kept my dog inside before I paid the amount they doubled in charge at the end of it. Not a good vet to go to seems like they only care about money. The staff is very nice but that's all and we were told "if we were going to nickle and dime to get our dog to the vet then we shouldn't have a dog" from one of the veterinarians

Something is amiss when you call and your pet is injured and they cant get you in for a week or two??

All the people that work at this veterinary clinic are exceptional. I live in Hamilton and without hesitation will drive to Caledonia to take my fur babies here.
I’ve been going since the pandemic, they were very kind in explaining how my visit will work with minimal contact.
Each time I go they call and talk about my pets, explain things in as much detail as they can, they give me great suggestions to keep my animals staying healthy.
I’ve spoken to each of the three veterinarians and they’re all great to talk to and bring my pets to. Every time I call with a question they are more than

I m very happy with their service and dr Daniel for the patience with me as I am hard of hearing and he was able to take his mask down to communicate with me. We highly recommend Isabel and her great staff at Caledonia Vet Clinic. They are truly caring about your pet and not in it just for the money. Isabel takes the time to answer your questions and offer her personal advice about your pet as though it was her own. For our family and our dogs it is worth the extra drive from Stoney Creek to Caledonia.

I would like to share a horrible experience I had at the vets in town today. My poor fur baby was old and we knew he was nearing the end of his life. He took a turn for the worse today and was in obvious pain when my father and brother rushed him to the vets office. With our dog in pain, screaming out, they were met at the door of the office and… told they could not come in (even with a mask) they took the dog and said the doc would do an exam. My father was adamant that my poor dog needs to be put out of his misery. The tech that was dealing with him at the door said he would have to pay

For over 25 years I have taken my pets here, the dedication and love not only for the pets but for their owners is overwhelming. I have been guided in goods time and very sad times with love and respect. Thank you to all the staff!! And the Doctors!!!!

With six dogs (previously seven), we are at CVC frequently. Thankfully usually for routine check ups. On the occasional times that we have had an urgent need to be seen, we have always been accommodated. Drs. Daniel, Isabel, Vinny and all of their staff treat our pups the same way they would treat their own pups. Not once have I left regretting the decision to move the care of our pack to this team. Two years ago my best friend Buddy was attacked by an off leash dog.Dr Vinny did emergency surgery and saved his life.Vinny said the odds of bud having a healthy life were not great because off his age and how serious it was .Buds a fighter and is still going strong.Bud is having some heart issues now and Vinny once again prescribed some meds and is helping Bud.Everyone at the clinic are all so nice and know that our pets are our family.Bud says thanks Vinny and every Buddy. Bud is almost 16 and i know im lucky to have such a special guy,hope for a couple more years.
