Services
We have many psychologists, most full-time and some part-time. We also have MSWs, speech language therapists, occupational therapists, and teachers to round out our team. We have psychologists who can help with problems like anxiety, depression, or ADHD. We have psychologists who can help with problems requiring more expertise, such as Autism Spectrum, PTSD, head injuries, or personality disorders.
Depression can make it difficult to see any positives, affecting your work and social life. Trauma damages your well-being, often causing you to feel hurt and frightened, while physically changing your brain. Obsessive-Compulsive disorder can cause you to continually repeat thoughts in your head or do the same thing over and over.
Telepsychology has mostly been used by psychologists to work with people in remote locations where specialists may not be available. In this time of social distancing and uncertainty, we are now making telepsychology available across Alberta. We're all in this together. Anxiety, stress, fears, addiction, depression, parenting, mediation, and relationship problems can all be treated with online sessions.
This is your time to sit down with one of our psychologists and explain what is happening, so we can figure out what to help you with and how best to help you. Autism Spectrum can present itself in many ways, including difficulty communicating and in social situations. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can make it difficult for people to pay attention, focus, or stay still.

I've never been the type of person to talk about myself or my feelings, but I finally took the first step in seeking help this year. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner... The counselor (a registered psychologist, so it's covered by my insurance) helped me through my current and past struggles, and set me on a brighter path. I'm thriving at work, and my relationship has never been better. Thank you.

I called The Family Psychology Place on a referral from a colleague for some troubles I'd been having (mood and attention concerns). The receptionist was able to properly direct me to the right psychologist, and I finally have answers to some questions that I've carried with me for years and years, and am getting the help that I need. I honestly wish I'd found these guys sooner.
The location is good for me, and they have a good selection of hours that work with my schedule. I'll be bringing my daughter in later this month.

Christina is amazing, very happy with all my sessions thus far and well worth your money. I somehow can cry during my session but leave feelings whole hearted and more knowledgeable about how to handle hard situations and better control my emotions. I'm excited to see what 2019 brings with the help and tools I now have to move in a positive direction. The scheduling is fairly flexible and she was willing to see how see could change around her personal schedule if we couldn't get in which was also a nice gesture. In the last 3 months I have learned how to not let negative people or negative things

We've had 2 assessments done at the Southland location. Other people I know have as well. We went to a new Psych place and they took a look at the assessment and said they didn't finish it. Where is the rest of his diagnosis? Apparently, when you get a diagnosis of one thing there is always another part of it. Would have helped my son out so much if we'd known that. Also they told us about $3000 but they kept adding on. Closer to $4000 by time they finished. Going to Moroz now they are awesome!

I took my youngest daughter for consultation to this place. The psychologist named Sarah took an hour to note down the details of the problem that my daughter was having. It was the first session and no diagnostic test was carried out. However, I was surprised to see her come up with a hefty amount that would cost us to get her treated. I checked with my family doctor and he told me to keep away as no one could predict the cost of any medical treatment prior to confirmed diagnosis.
