Poor service, will not be returning. Did not address the issue brought in for, instead found a different problem. The staff was extremely pushy when I was hesitant to get the work done, and outright lied about the extent of the the problem to try to persuade me. No feedback yet on the quality of the work.

Recently traveled through Kamloops out to Vancouver Island from Alberta, my vehicle was having some issues with overheating and they helped me out and did it for less than I anticipated. Very honest folks and I highly recomend them!!!

Got a wheel alignment done incorrectly here. Within 6 months of driving both front tires were worn out on the inside requiring new tires. They also pressed in a control bushing too far causing it to fail. Full incompetence by both owner and mechanic. Avoid at all costs

Came in because my car wasn't getting any power. They pulled a code for the camshaft position sensor and went ahead and replaced it... with veryy expensive aftermarket parts. It failed almost immediately and on the highway, leaving me in an extremely dangerous situation. After that my car was running even worse than before, less power and now stalling and shutting off. It's pretty common knowledge that cars don't like aftermarket electrical parts. Anyways, I called to let them know the repair had failed and they said I could come bring it back to them, but offered no apology or discount

PLEASE avoid this mechanic! Save yourself the heartache I had to go through. Go too www.bbb.org to see a fully published dispute that I have had to have with Henry and to see how he chose to deal with my concerns with the Better Business Bearau. Put Hanson's Auto repair kamloops into the search. DO NOT EXPCT HIM TO BE FAIR or to care about your concerns.

I showed up at lunch to pick my car up. There was a sign that said “will return at 1pm.” I ended up waiting outside in the rain for 40 minutes. Nobody informed me they completely close down for lunch (building locked, nobody around) and I showed up when I was told to. One of their techs later tried to blame it on me. The owner also later said they were all there during the time I waited, implying that I was lying. There’s many other options in town, I recommend trying a more proven company, something more professional.

We were passing through Kamloops yesterday and just as we were heading up the big hill westbound the temp gauge spiked and we couldn’t make it up the hill. Called a few places but it was midday and nobody could look at the car. Finally called Hanson’s and they took it in, replaced the radiator fan and had us back on the road in less than an hour. Great people and amazingly quick. Saved the day-

The front brakes on my Jeep gave out yesterday and today, less than 24 hours later, I'm back on the road with a brand new set thanks to Hansen's. They took the vehicle in late afternoon and worked on it first thing this morning; had it ready by 10:00 as promised and the bill came to slightly less than what they quoted. Thanks for the ride home yesterday, the friendly service and the knowledgable mechanics who worked on my car.

I usually don't write reviews, but need to for Hansons Garage. We were traveling through town towing a Camper. When my truck broke down, they were there to help. Henry and the staff really worked together as s team. Not only did they fix the truck, but also picked up the parts we needed from the airport. They also drove us to a hotel, and picked us up the next day. The service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Hanson's was a great experience. There was no pressure, just a devotion to treating their clients like family. They spent a lot of time with me and my truck and in the end only billed 35 bucks for the diagnosis of my problematic engine. They have been kind and generous, I would recommend them to anyone; wither your from town or just passing through.

Absolutely amazing service. We were passing through Kamloops on a long road trip and stopped at Hanson's to have some major damages on our wheel repaired. We didn't have an appointment but they were able to squeeze us in right away. Henry took the time to show us all of the damages and gave us reasonable estimates on how long the repair would take and cost. He even found us some used parts to save money. They got the job done much quicker and cheaper than we imagined. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. If only Hanson's was in my hometown...

Beware of this place.
My vehicle would not start.Had it towed to Hansons where I had bought a battery less then a year ago. He checked the battery and found out it was faulty and replaced the battery on warranty. Then I go to pick it up and he has charged me 37.00 for diagnostics. He also charged 40.00 for reversing front and rear tires.
Sum total 97.00 for replacing battery on warranty,and reversing tires!!!!
