Took my Mustang GT in to have a new clutch safety switch installed. Steve and his team replaced the worn out one and had the job done for me very quickly on the same day at a very reasonable price for a tricky job. I highly recommend this business.

Good and friendly service you see too little of these days.
Steve with very little notice was able to fit my car into the shop for some minor repair work on the engine wiring following what I presume was a midnight snack from my neighborhood rodant all at a reasonable price.
If ever I need repairs again,
Arbutus Service Center will be the first call I'll make.

I'm left feeling a little disappointed, as I was told by a friend that this place is honest and does a good job. So when I took my car in and told the mechanic I needed an oil change and ONLY an oil change due to recently purchasing the car and knowing the condition of the car and then being charged for an oil change plus a very basic service which almost doubled the price I was a bit annoyed.
I'm no mechanic but the list of things that had been checked (tire pressure, wiper blades, lights, washer fluid, etc) were able to be done by a complete novice and when I quite clearly stated I didn't need

These guys have been servicing my car for years, even before I bought it the previous owner was taking it to them. The work has always been solid and reliable and the prices have always been fair and reasonable. When any additional work needs to be done they always call before doing anything, let me know the scope of the damage and if the car is usable or not before getting the work done. They also quote me everything up front and stick with the quoted price.
Only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is because their opening hours can be difficult for me working downtown to get my car in and out
