Dixie Bloor Service has been offering professional automotive services and repairs since 1968. We moved to our current Mississauga location in 1985 and currently have a small staff of three on hand. Benjamin apprenticed under his father for many years and is now a fully accredited Class A Automotive Technician.
Dixie Bloor Service is your one-stop shop for all types of automotive services and repairs. We handle everything from brakes, tires, and oil changes to suspension, safety inspections, engine repair, and transmissions. Our auto shop also carries a selection of automotive products including FRAM oil filters, Castrol oil products, and Total oil products.
It's been found that the leading cause of traffic accidents is brake failure. And often brake failure is a preventable circumstance. That's why Dixie Bloor Service offers brake inspections. We examine various components of your brakes to ensure they are working properly. Our inspection usually checks for wear on pads, shoes, drums, and rotors.
Get your oil changed regularly to help maintain your vehicle. Dixie Bloor Service recommends that you change the oil in your car every 5,000 kilometres or about 4 to 5 times a year. It's also important to check it on your own to make sure you meet the proper fluid levels. Your engine depends on these fluids to function properly.
Dixie Bloor Service offers all front end suspension work to most makes and models. We handle maintenance and repairs for springs, struts, tie rods, ball joints, and control arms. We have first line parts available with lifetime warranties.

I went to this automotive service station when my car dealer told me my car needed something that I didn't think it did. Ben was very helpful and accommodating to take my car right away and confirmed my fears that my dealer service were taking me for a ride. He did not charge me to look at this. I've since done two services with Ben and I'm very happy with the service received. I have moved all my business to dixie-bloor service and I'm no longer going to my dealer service station. Ben gives me honest advice and service at a very reasonable price.

I waited 3 days with my car in the shop. I asked them to check alternator and put on the diagnostic. (My battery had died and I need a boost to get to the Husky garage) on the 3rd day they quickly charged my battery for $22. Thought it would be fine. NOT. I DIED THE NEXT DAY AGAIN. they were so busy. Why tell me to bring my car there and because you are too busy have it sit there for 3 days only to charge battery and not check alternator..connections or the diagnostic which is what I asked for. Terrible service. Thanks so much. I had to call for assistance the next day. I'm taking it to a REAL

I needed the front rotors and pads replaced. Along with a rear brake lube service on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ben from Dixie-Bloor Service was very friendly on the phone when I called for an appointment. I arrived the morning on time and was greeted quickly and was told Ben would be with me shortly. After speaking with Ben and leaving my contact info, he told me it would be about an hour and I'd get a call with a full estimate after he had performed the inspection. Ben called an hour almost to the minute later with my estimate and a recommendation that other work I had asked him to

Lived within the area so this was the closest thing without having to travel far for repair. The service is great because their trustworthy and straight forward. Before doing repair to your car they will call you (after diagnosing your car) and let you know the breakdown of what needs to be done before you make the decision should you choose to proceed with them. Very friendly and professional people.
