Lisa was born in Kingston, Ontario and grew up in the 1000 Islands region, just outside of Brockville. A typical small town country girl, she loved to ride her bike to the beach in the summers and cross country ski in the woods in the winters. She was very active in school, playing many sports, her favourites were basketball and volleyball.

Dayna Holtom has been around chiropractors since she was very young. In fact, she was just a few hours old when she had her first adjustment. It was only natural that she decided to enter the field of natural health care and chose to study massage therapy at Algonquin College, where she graduated in 2010.
Award winning chiropractor Dr. Mike Carreira is passionate about helping your family reach their optimal potential. As a student he volunteered at a local hospital and really enjoyed working with the staff and helping patients. He originally thought to pursue a career in physiotherapy until he had his first major injury.

With an awesome experience of more than a year of chiropractic treatment with Dr. Mike, I would say he is the Best. A very good chiropractor, attentive, analytical, very friendly and best in his job. He works on the foundation...the cause rather that just relieving symptoms, and then further restorations. A very sweet front desk team, very flexible and friendly. Thanks a lot to complete team, really appreciate all you do.

Great service! I and my daughter have been seeing Dr Mike for the past 4 months. My hip pain improved significantly. Dr Mike and office team are friendly and professional, always goes above and beyond to be available for your needs and requirements. I came to Dr. Mike with severe back pain caused by a bulging disk. I've seen many doctors and physiotherapists for my back pain, no one has been successful treating it. Since I started with Dr. Mike I have progressed incredibly, I am nearly pain free and able to do many things I couldn't do before. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I am extremely pleased and thankful to have found this place.

I definitely recommend this place! I have been going to Chiro since a very young age and when I moved to Ottawa it took me a little while to find a good one, where I feel satisfied and being taken care of properly, Marketplace Chiropractic with Dr. Carreira, is definitely that place. He takes the time to really listen and understand a body isn't only physical and many other things comes into play for the discomfort we can experience. His techniques and approach are well use and you can feel the progress, he also provide progress check which I haven't experience in the past and makes a huge difference

My wife and daughter and I have been seeing Dr Mike regularly for about 16 months. My daughter was 4 when we started, and she is eager to go for her appointments. Dr Mike has a terrific bedside manner, and does good work. I feel like he is exceptionally competent, and he has been able to get adjustments that other chiropractors were not able to get. A+
