Dog bites pose a serious health risk to our communities and society. More than 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs each year in the United States, and more than 800,000 receive medical attention for dog bites, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). At least half of those bitten are children.
Everyone is trying to save money these days, including pet owners. But in an effort to cut back on costs, you may hear advice that could end up compromising your pet's health. Regardless of what you read, providing your pet with regular preventive care is the key to a healthy and long life for your pet.
A: An increasing number of media reports describe pets found in homes that have been vacated due to foreclosure. Sometimes these pets have been abandoned, but are otherwise healthy; other times, these pets have been found ill, dying or dead.

Many people who can no longer afford to pay their mortgage and lose their homes as a result will go to live with other family members, move into temporary housing or shelters, rent, or opt for lower-priced housing.Unfortunately, their pets are not always welcome in these places.

Horrible experience. We called in before leaving because we came from out of town to have our dog treated for a very painful ear infection. They asked when we'd be arriving and said 1.5-2 hrs. When we arrived we checked in and were told the wait would be up to several hours. We sat in the parking lot "waiting room" for 2 hours and watched people walking in from the street with no appointments. Then we were told it wouldn't be until 8pm at night before they could see us. Absolutely ridiculous.

The assistants and vet here are all informative and helpful. They are willing to work with you and find healthy solutions for your pet. The vet is kind and explains in laymen terms without the medical jargon. They have made their services available to both of our family pets (cat and dog) and took great care of pets when they were in need. Our cat was in an altercation with several raccoons and they performed surgery on him ASAP to save his life last year. I have a rescue dog and he has minor complications that they’ve helped with significantly. Would recommend this animal hospital. It’s also

Not going back. Frequent miscommunications, upselling attempts, lack of capability with dealing with our large breed despite saying they were comfortable. My partner felt quite uncomfortable, judged, and that they genuinely were overwhelmed by our dog who behaved very well. Timing was all over the map and we were left out of the loop far too many times. We had to fix numerous issues with their scheduling and lack of communication. I am normally not someone who leaves negative reviews, but for the money we paid, the service experience was terrible. Nothing against the staff who were obviously caring

When I first got my tabby cat, seventeen years ago, she gott fixed and all her shots. Recently she passed away. The Doctor and staff at Duncan Animal Hospital, went beyond my expectations. They were so accommodating with phone calls and appointments. They were compassionate and caring with myself my son and our Sasha. I am very grateful to them.

Horrible experience. They kept trying to change our agreed upon appointment time which had been set well in advance. Then they tried to upsell at least 5 different unnecessary procedures. They made me feel guilty for everything I turned down even though it made zero sense for the very simple neutering my dog was having. The appointment was close to $500.00. Before going I triple checked the price and at the end of the appointment they still tried to charge me an extra 70.00 for no reason. They seemed extremely incapable with dealing with my large dog. If you go there expect to be charged through
