Services
Dr. Westman and Dr. Shaw are Certified Pediatric Dental Specialists. As part of their training, they have completed additional years of hospital and university-based advanced studies in dentistry for children beyond the regular dental school curriculum. This includes all aspects of clinical dentistry for children, as well as growth and development, orthodontics, sedation and management of dental anxieties for infants, children and teens.
Our experienced staff is especially interested in making all of our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. We are also committed to providing the highest standard of care and we regularly attend continuing education on the latest advances in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Westman has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Barrie since 1988. Following graduation from the University of Western Ontario School of Dentistry in 1982, Dr. Westman was a dental intern at University and Victoria Hospitals in London, Ontario. From 1984 to 1986, Dr. Westman provided dental care to the First Nation people in the Sioux Lookout Zone of Northwestern Ontario.
Please arrive on time for all of your scheduled appointments. We will do our best to treat your child as close to their scheduled time as we can. We hope to avoid unnecessary anxiety by minimizing wait times for our young patients. Failure to arrive on time may result in your appointment being rescheduled and a fee assessed.
