I have been a client of hairstylist Silvana Amiri at Hennessy Park Royal for over 10 years. I’ve always loved the cut and colour she gives me. The salon underwent renovations a few years ago and is beautiful, clean and well laid out. They have been following all the COVID protocols to the letter and the salon has excellent spacing between stations. I would recommend Hennessy highly.

Below zero. Avoid AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE. i had my hair relaxed and was advised to wash it after a week. Once i did that my hair has been falling like crazy. Im freaking out went to the manager and all she could do is a complementary one time treatment. (As courtesy to destroying my hair and my psychological state) I didnt even hear a sorry about that or anything. Im traumatized as i cry every day. A bit of my hair went bald. I have been going to the same barber for over a decade, and after he retired i was worried that i wouldn't find someone that could cut my hair EXACTLY as i ask for. I was referred to Nicole at the salon and was skeptical at first. After the first haircut i received from her i was blown away, she not only did an amazing job but i have also referred all my friends, and cant say enough good things of her quality work and great personality. Defiantly see Nicole if you can shes giving me some of my best hair cuts ive ever had.

My 13 year old son went here today while I was at work and got his hair cut. They charged him $55 plus tax for a hair cut??? Hes 13!! Yes, he should have discussed price prior to getting his hair cut BUT knowing hes 13 and without parental supervision I feel like good customer service would have been to discuss price with him before the hair cut! Hes in grade 8 and has a part time job, this cost him 1/4 of his monthly earnings! Just totally shocked at the lack of professionalism at this salon. Shame on them taking advantage of a 14 year old boy.

The worst cut i've ever had and had to pay $72 for it. The woman had no idea how to cut, my friends handle hair better. I think she has been a hairdresser for many years but she needs some retraining in cutting. The price these high end salons charge they should have high end hairstylist.

A friend recommended Hennessy Salon in Richmond. I was meaning to write a review and just hadn't gotten around to it. When I went onto the site I saw an incredibly negative review and was sooo surprised. Fiona was specifically recommended to me and my experience was soooo amazing I can't even imagine what was being said being possible. Fiona is so knowledgeable and kind. My hair was damaged and her highlights and colour was such a relief to me. The cut she gave me is my favourite to date!

I have been seeing Nicole for cuts and colour for years. She is extremely attentive and talented. She really takes her time at each appointment to make sure everything is perfect from the scalp massage to the blow out. I always leave the salon feeling glamorous and amazed at how my hair looks, moves and feels.

Make sure you book your appointment with Nicole. You won't be disappointed! She is amazing at what she does. I'm extremely happy with my haircut and highlights. It's exactly what I wanted! She was super accommodating with my busy schedule which was a bonus. Also very personable and friendly. Would highly recommend her.

Never make yelp posts but had to on this one as it was one of the worst experiences at a salon ever. If I could give zero stars, I would. Called to make an appointment for a blow dry and curling iron set and upon arriving I was told by Tylah that she couldn't accommodate me as that would require me to go home with some of her pins. I have had this same service done at many salons and never been told I couldn't leave with a few inexpensive pins. (Amazon has a pack of 100 pins for $5.99). I offered to pay for the pins and was told she wouldn't know how much to charge me for them. Also

I was very nervous about getting my hair cut anywhere new since I moved... I left it way to long. So today I bit the bullet and booked an appointment. I got Carina (Jing) and I am so glad. Although I'm pretty sure she is not used to curly hair (mine especially likes to basically be a knot) and took a bit to warm up talking wise, my hair looks very good.

I have been meaning to get my hair colored but was not sure who I could trust. I had an old ombre done by another stylist. My hair was brassy and damaged from the previous job. After following Gloria on Instagram for awhile, I decided to give it a try. Anybody who knows me, know that I'm really picky when it comes to my hair. When i first went to hennessey salon, I didn't know what to expect. I got there and was greeted by a welcoming team of stylists, including the one who did my hair: Gloria. I sat down and we talked about what I wanted and the possible outcomes. Gloria was very easy going and friendly, and held a conversation very well. So disappointing. I am so upset with the results of my hair styling, which I got for a formal event. I went for a hair consultation prior to my appointment and showed pictures of exactly what I wanted. I even contacted the model in the picture for an exact description on how to achieve the hair so I could tell the Hennessy hair stylist. In the end I left with hair that did not look ANYTHING like my picture even after I made comments and showed the picture once more. By the end of the night my hair looked SO frizzy and fried I wish I had not done this in the first place. I paid $60 for them to damage

They've always carried Dermalogica exclusively which could be good or not so good.
Looked their travel sets for my upcoming big trip to somewhere in States, and tired of all that work, squeezing to those travel size bottles.
One set, for the sensitive, has the cleanser, mist toner (not my preference), moisturizer but no eye cream. For $45, not the best value or functionality.
Nice lady who took the time to explain the background of this company.
Located where the movie theaters used to be.

I was surprised there weren't more reviews for this salon located inside Richmond Centre. I had a gift card I needed to use and wasn't sure how experienced the stylists were. I took a leap of faith and let the girl know on the phone when I was booking the appointment that I wanted someone that knew how to cut a short hairstyle. My stylist was Norm. I can tell that he was experienced and knew what he was doing. He did err on the side of caution at first and kept it longer than I wanted. Great for people that are scared that stylists cut their hair too short. I wanted it shorter

The stylist was very nice and polite, but was the worst experience I have ever had, I went in for a colour and cut with no appointment and they accomodated me fine. I was not asked what colour I would like and when I asked the colour she was using, she stated the same colour as your hair. Unfortunately not, the colour was so dark brown it appeared black. I expressed my diassapointment and was told it will lighten after a couple washes. Never did and not impressed as it was also the most expensive experience in my life at $105, crazy!! Never again and recommend this costly place to no one! Dean

Very nice environment. Got my hair trimmed by a lady there 'cause my split ends were driving me nuts. Hair looked amazing, but it is a bit tad expensive (that says a lot since I have gotten my hair cut and coloured in gas town, having spent up to $300+). For a trim, quick wash, style, I think my total was around 70-80 bucks. Not bad though!
