A historical village, Steveston is located half an hour from downtown Vancouver. It is a popular area for many tourists. Since Tao Day Spa, an organic natural spa opened last year, it has been drawing new crowds. Their most popular service is their facials, using Eminence Organic Skincare from Hungary.
Our Spa treatments are designed to ensure that all guests are able to fully enjoy their spa experience. Cancellation of appointments requires a 48 hour notice to avoid any additional charges. Clients who book two or more services must secure their appointments with a credit card. If you are coming to our spa for the first time, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete our health questionnaire.

This is the best spa. I originally came to Tao because I had a gift certificate. Now I am a regular customer. I've been working with Winnie on my skin consistently and now she's the only esthetician I trust. She knows her stuff better than anyone, and I always I know I'm in good hands with her. She has also tested my past products to see if I should continue using them - she really is so knowledgeable! I'm so glad I found this gem.

I've had the pleasure of having Winnie as my esethetician. I can't say enough about her skill and knowledge. She really takes a look at your skin and chooses the best plan of action. She mentioned the custom blended oil at my first visit, but I didn't go for it then. However, the second time I had my appointment, I decided to go for it. I wish I went for it the first time! It is simply amazing and I've noticed such a difference in my skin.

I booked my appointment 3 months in advance back in November 2017. Since I read good reviews, I was willing to wait so I can check out the place. Prior to my appointment, I got 2 calls to want to change my appointment time. When I told them I can't and want to keep my original appointment, they told me that I was actually booked half hour late than what I was originally told.
I ended up have to cancel it afterall since I have something planned after the spa. I don't know if this place is good or not, but the management definitely needs some work.

Just had make-up applied for 2 wedding events and was very pleased. I love the make up used. My skin felt great and the make up lasted all night. Jennifer has a great skill with natural looking make up. I had many compliments regarding how well I looked without anyone being sure why. They thought I must have been well rested. Yoshi applied a more glamorous look and it was perfect for the occasion. I had so much fun having this done and I will be booking again for other special events. I love the spa, facials, location and ambience. I'm taking stars off because of their reception system. They don't have a receptionist. It's usually one of the aestheticians who are on duty. Most of the time I call no one picks up and I have to leave a message. I called yesterday, left my name and number and no one called me back and it is now the end of the second day and I guess I'll look for another place or should I call back and chase them down? For a spa that prides itself on service and quality it needs a receptionist or online booking or a better way to answer calls

A girlfriend and I went in for our very first professional manicure experience (and no, we are not teenagers :) - we had made an appointment for the classic manicure at the same time after doing some research online for a local spa/salon for manicures. I gave it a 3-star because it gave me a very sanitized/clean impression of the tools and environment, as well as great customer service. The representative that I had was Showna, who did a nice job on my cuticles (I had a lot of cuticles and dry/dead skin plus small nails) and without hurting me at all. * UPDATE* Today, I received in the mail 2 PAST DUE NOTICES of 112.00 each for the original $15.00 dollar ticket that the owner wrote down below "we had it removed" - Another lie, from the owner that continues outrageously harassing behavior against a first time client. I had 60mins RMT massage by Amanda.
Pros: The massage feels was pretty good, kinda aching the next day but that's ok.
Cons: The massage was shorter than stated time.. 50-55mins tops. I wasn't given much instructions of what I can do to clean myself up.. My neck was really greasy after the massage. No shower here, it's a extra $10 apparently. I dislike how the room was opened to air and you can hear people next door. They said no cellphone but someone's cellphone was definitely ringing and the customer picked up and i heard her whole conversation.
