Have been seeing Chantal at this salon for over 3 years. Was shocked at how poorly I was treated when a misunderstanding occured and I sat in the parking lot for 30 mins waiting for my apppointment instead of walking straight in - waiting outside had been the covid protocol for two years. I had called in and told someone I was there, as I had for the past two years. Chantal was obviously upset at my "delay", and when I expressed confusion regarding the protocols, she told me she "wasn't looking for drama". Every time I come to Rush and see Emily I always leave so happy with the results! She does a great job! The last couple visits we had difficulty with my hair fading too quickly and Emily tried different methods to make sure I was satisfied with my hair colour! I would recommend Emily to everyone. We even talked about plans for my hair for the summer, I always look forward to my appointments at Rush!

Went in for a full head of highlights- service itself was good. But, the cost was the most insane amount I’ve ever paid for the exact same service. I was quoted at $125 for a full head of highlights- was charged $165 because my hair is dark and thick, so understandable. I told the stylist that my usual stylist gave me toner to use (because she wasn’t able to book me in over the holidays, so I tried Rush in the interim). She told me that I would still need to be toned at the salon, even though I had said I would do that with the stuff I knew I liked at home- another $40. But here’s the kicker

I highly recommend this salon. Jacqueline has been my hairstylist for over a decade. She brings so much expertise, passion and flair to her work and the salon as a whole. It’s a beautiful space and there is great energy amongst the staff. Choose any stylist - they are all incredibly talented with cuts and colour.

This is an upscale hair salon that provides excellent service. Chantal in particular is quite talented, and is also a lovely person. She is sort of our family hairdresser and has gone out of her way to treat my elderly mother like gold. At this rate I expect she will have a wait list soon!!

When I moved back to Barrie I tried a few different places over a couple years and finally ended up at Rush! I’ve been using them for 2 years now and love my hair every single time I get it done. I’ve used them for both lightening and going dark - the colour and cuts are always amazing. Maggie cut my hair today and I’m already looking forward to going back to her in a couple months for summer highlights. The studio is clean, everyone is so nice and Maggie really explained everything she was doing and why throughout the whole process. I love the way my hair looks.

When I moved to the area, I tried a few salons and was never satisfied with any place until my first appointment at Rush Hair Studio. I’ve now been going for almost 10 years! Not only do they keep my blonde hair looking healthy and beautiful, they are now doing my 4 teenaged daughters’ hair! Rush Hair Studio was amazing! Everyone is so happy and welcoming. They are taking every precaution for their customers. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere. My hair cut was truly amazing, I walked out feeling like royalty. Will be back for sure.

I have been coming to Rush Hair Studio for years because I simply have always been delighted with my cut and colour. I've followed Jacqueline around to wherever she's styled hair because I know I can trust her to give me the best cut, colour and style for my hair texture, skin tone and face shape. I always get positive comments on my hair styles and colour from friends, family and sometimes even strangers! I now live in London, ON and make the drive to Barrie every 8 weeks to get my hair done because I just love Rush that much.
