Since 1989, when he graduated from the University of Toronto in Dentistry, Dr. Suyama has committed himself to his practice and to the care and well-being of his patients: his first practice, called Robson Dental Clinic, has moved and grown into the thriving practice that is Vancouver City Centre Dental.

About Dr. Suyama Report

Dr. Mark Suyama, General Dentist, has been working in Vancouver since graduating from the University of Toronto. He has over 16 years of experience working in the operating rooms doing surgical assists at B.C. Children's Hospital and the Vancouver General Hospital. There, he has participated in various oral surgeries, including those involving cleft palates.

I had the most terrible experience with the hygienist there. My cleaning appointment was made several months ago, but they suddenly changed my regular hygienist without notifying me before my cleaning appointment. Her way of handling my teeth and mouth was very rough, and unskillful. She pulled my lips very roughly without saying anything, splashing rinsing water all over my face and even my shirt, and kept asking "Are you ok?". Extremely kind people work at this clinic, from the receptionists, to the CDA’s, hygienists and dentists. They are all very friendly and informative.
