Dog Town
We are a dog daycare and dog hotel in Vancouver that makes sure that every dog that comes to us experiences our specialized education and training program, going through commands and exercises that enhance focus, mind stimulation, and releases anxieties. Leading to well-behaved and engaged dogs. We are a family-run dog daycare, spa, school and hotel for cool and happy dogs.

We offer all day play, learning and fun in our huge indoor and outdoor facility in the heart of Olympic Village, Vancouver. We specialize in making sure our dogs are healthy, happy, and have the best relationship they can with their owners. That's why our approach to structured, supervised learning and play has been cultivated and implemented successfully with our Vancouver clients since 2004.
Services
Please note that every new client needs to book a free assessment before using our services. This applies also if your dog has not been coming for the last 2 months. DOGTOWN's Free Assessment consists of a 10-15 minute meet and greet with you and your dog. Second, after seeing where your dog is at, we will advice on a variety of packages that will best fit you and your dog.

Positive: Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness
Going to Dogtown is always a pleasant experience. The staff is incredible kind and my dog is always happy to share time with other puppies. I'm happy that whenever I have questions about my dog's behavior and health they are always ready to help :) I totally recommend it!

I have been a DOGTOWN client for many years. They are really devoted to what they do. They helped me with my beautiful, but a little crazy husky. My apartment is definitely not big enough to have her without having DOGTOWN pick her up, exercise her, socialize her and then bring her back end of the day.
It shocks me to see the lack of understanding of many dog owners that write reviews here. Dogs are dogs, we love them more than what we love humans, but that doesn’t make them human. Yes my dog gets scratches from playing and socializing at daycare, but that doesn’t mean that I have to blame

Tldr: Contact the city about cases of incident from this place before you sign up.
It's been just a bit over a year since our dog was attacked at this facility and since no real resolution was made I thought it was best to post my experience. Our husky was attacked while at daycare in this facility, she had been sleeping in the outdoor space and another dog freaked out when a person entered and decided to attack. This resulted in our husky requiring sedation and multiple stitches as the other dog went for her neck. After the incident, we tried to get in contact with a manager or higher-level employee

BEWARE. This doggy daycare says they have video cameras and surveillance to watch the dogs. After sending our dog twice, he came home with a gash under his eye and was bleeding significantly from his nose.
It took us at least a week to get ahold of management after someone had sold us a “10 pack” daycare option. They now refuse to refund us the total price after our dog was traumatized, wouldn’t look us in the eyes after pickup, and stank horribly after his experience at this place. I addition to the bleeding which seems consistent with other reviews.
Please do not trust this establishment

POTENTIAL NEW CUSTOMERS -- PLEASE READ!
September 27, 2021 around 8AM:
I'm new to the area and was looking for a trusted place to take my dog. He's been to several dog daycares before and the staff and dogs love him He is full of energy and love for both humans and other dogs. The day before, I filled out Dogtown's online intake form for a new dog but they don't use it so don't waste your time on it! When we arrived, the person in charge said they need to perform an assessment. I totally understand this process, however, it was completely unprofessional and aggressive. The "assessment" was them

Dogtown lost my dog!
It was my first time using this dog daycare. I dropped my happy, well adjusted dog Figs off last Friday morning while I went away for the weekend. On Saturday morning, I got a call from a kid who had found my dog near the docks on the seawall (scared, no leash on, limping). Figs had walked through several extremely busy city intersections at the least, to get to the location he was found.
I had my father-in-law go pick Figs up from the docks and take him home, and repeatedly called Dogtown to figure out what happened - no response, no answer.

***NEVER PAY FIRST***
In response to "contact us"...um...I dropped it when you gave me part what you owed me. Too sick, too busy and you know it. I can call you if you want, but I think we both know where that will go, we've had plenty of conversations. Besides, not like you'll actually return calls. You avoided me for months, but don't worry. I'm still here, and the law is on my side. I'm surprised you bothered to respond. Will only bring more complications for you.
Absolutely awful and dishonest.
I took my dog here for a few months for daycare, hotel and training as I was unwell at the time

Dog Taxi now DOG TOWN has meant a world to my husky and me. I love her to the moon and back and I know how important it is for dogs to socialize ideally in a daly basis. We moved to Olympic Village a few years ago and we are lucky we saw one of their cute little cars during one of our walks. The DOG Town team is Amazing, they are knowledgable and passionate. Every time we arrive in the morning April my puppy cant stop wagging her tail and singing her husky way. We have been their clients for a few years now and we have seen all the improvements they are constantly making. As I said, April is a

My girl Lily has been coming to Dogtown daily for almost 6 weeks now. We travel 45 minutes each morning in rush hour to Dogtown because it is simply the best.
My girl is very energetic and loves to always be doing something so I started to look at options when I started working so much and she was spending more time alone. Dogtown is like a high end private school to me. She is literally loved on by staff and her best dog friends from the minute she arrives and throughout the day I get photos and videos of how she is doing and I can just see the huge smile on her face. When we park she wants out
