Contessa's Elite Master Hairstylist Finalist, Janet Jackson is the Founder & CEO of JouJou Hair Studio. As a hairstylist whose passion for hair is unmatched and with over 20 years of experience; Janet has done numerous appearances on TV, and styled the locks of notable celebrities such as Winnie Harlow, Rita Ora, Iman, Kim Fields, Marci Ien, Tracy Moore, Usher, Stephan James, Keshia Chante, Miguel and countless others.
Seeking a full-time Salon / Brand Manager to join her team. The studio is looking for an organized and experienced professional; to work behind the scenes and maintain an efficient and goal-orientated work environment. JouJou's Salon / Brand Manager will be the client champion and brand promoter. This role will manage inventory and finance and ensure salon is running smoothly.

Never in my life have I experience such an horrifying service like this . It’s been two days and my scalp is still burning. It was my first time going to this salon for a perm. I’ve been perming my hair for 23 years and never once did any hair dresser wet my hair and put me under the dryer for 35 minutes before even perming my hair. I told her during the consultation that I have psoriasis on my scalp and it’s extremely sensitive. So irritating my scalp before perming it, wasn’t a good idea. As soon as she applied the perm my head was already tingling and I could feel the heat. Let’s just

I went to JouJou for a bridal trial and bridal appointment. Cree is an artist that worked her magic on my natural hair and makeup. She also made my mother and sister look fabulous on my wedding day. I could not have found a better hair salon in the GTA to do such a professional job. This is the best experience I've had at a hair salon period. Thank you Cree for making me shine bright on my wedding day.

Jou Jou understands naturally Curly hair! They encouraged me to stop using relaxer because frankly I didn’t need it for my type of hair - despite the different textures across my head. With the right products, I stopped relaxing over 3 years ago now. And I have not looked back! My hair is so much healthier now. And less fragile in summer months because it’s all natural. Love Lorri - one of curly hair specialists!!! She also does colour and great styling - wash and go!

I started going to JouJou hair salon earlier this year. My hair was fried from over bleaching by a different salon. I finally found JouJou hair salon. I have been seeing Lorri for 7 months now, she is an amazing hair stylist. Meticulous, and very sweet. There are two reasons as to why I gave 4 starts. 1. It is too difficult to find a spot, you have to call a month prior to book an appointment. 2. The owner has one of her friends (who she is a magazine editor) that comes to do her hair at JouJou hair salon from New York. Every time she is there, the atmosphere is very awkward, as she is quite rude
