Herb graduated from WCVM in 1981. Herbers Veterinary Services operates on the home acreage of Herb and his family. Herb started the practice as the sole Veterinarian and provided services to cats, dogs, cattle and horses. As the years passed and the practice grew, Herb has focused his practice solely on horses.
He now spends the majority of his time working on high end performance horses, and, with his family, competes on the show jumping circuit. Sam graduated from WCVM in 2004. Sam spent years with the Herbers Veterinary family before graduating from vet school as a client and a volunteer. Sam started as a veterinarian at Herbers Veterinary Services in 2004.

Dr. Sam and the staff are the best! We drive 30 minutes each way just to see them. They have taken amazing care of our dog and cat. Under the care of a previous vet, our Golden Retriever's skin problems were undiagnosed and resulted in costly creams and constant shaving that was ineffective. Our dog was losing all her fur on her tail and was going crazy with her itchy skin. In desperation, and on a colleague's recommendation, we tried Dr. Sam. She took one look at our dog and asked, "Has her thyroid been tested?" Turns out, she has a low thyroid and it solved the problem almost immediately! Our

Herbers have been our vet for 17 years. They’ve looked after the three dogs we’ve had, and our five cats over the years. They are very caring and helpful with all the different issues in owning pets.
One issue that stands out for me, was the care of my 2 year old rescue. A black lab border collie mix.
He’d had no training whatsoever. Neither had I. Dr. Sam told me how to do so many things, even ‘night kennelling’ to get him to do his business outside. Worked like a charm. Took him to puppy school and that was a tremendous help. He became diabetic and later blind. Dr. Sam helped us through

Get here had been our Vet for over 25 yrs. They have been with us through some very tough times but always had compassion when something happened. Our dogs have always had the best care and advise! Even when they had to send us to specialists, for our Bailee! Dr. Get here went out of his way on a long weekend to save our Dodger after he was attack by another dog and we were out at the lake! Dr. S. Crosdale has been excellent with our girls Meeka, Bailee, Kiera & now Calli! I would recommend them to anyone for dogs, cats & horses!

More than excellent! We have been going to Herbers Veterinary Services since our first dog was dog #3 in the electronic record in 1985 Everyone at Herbers Veterinary Services has been wonderful and supportive and very, very knowledgeable and skillful! Four cats got their vaccines and exams today and Dr. Crosdale was thorough and compassionate.

I really appreciate all that Herb did for my gelding. He found the root of the issue without doing any unnecessary diagnostic testing. He was incredibly thorough and answered every single one of my repetitive questions. It was great to have an answer and a plan for my guys future without breaking the bank!
