Granada Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1994, and since then, we have treated many pets in Sherwood Park, Alberta, with love and compassion. We are proud of what we do and enjoy every part of our job. Our main goal is to provide your pet with the best service, throughout their life. Composed of one full time veterinarian, 3 part time veterinarians and 2 animal health technologists.
We offer a wide range of services that can help your pet if experiencing any health issues. Everything we do, we do it professionally and with love. Jared graduated from St. George's University of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. He lived 3 years in St. George's Grenada and finished his studies at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. After graduation he started work at an Emergency Veterinary Clinic for a year and enjoyed every aspect that emergency medicine has to offer.
Our knowledge and newest technological laboratory testing equipment allow us to perform the majority of needed laboratory tests. Much of our laboratory tests can have results in as little as 15 minutes (depending on the tests being conducted). If some more advanced tests are needed, we send the samples to larger veterinary diagnostic laboratories.
Your pet is safe with us because we follow the recommendations of the American Academy of Feline Practitioners and the American Animal Hospital Association for all of your pets vaccinations. It can be difficult to determine the correct course of action when it comes to vaccinating your pet as there are several vaccines out there.

Wonderful veterinarian clinic. Excellent care given to my dog every time. Staff are knowledgable and always very caring towards me and my dog. I highly recommend it. Prices are also very reasonable which is always a plus when you are worried about your pet.

We have two boxers (our babies) who are always in the best hands when they’re at Granada. Starting from the front end, Jenn is the sweetest and always a pleasure to deal with any questions or concerns and Jared Lawrence is the best of the best! He’s performed a few surgery’s on our pups and he always does an amazing job. He’s extremely honest and is an incredible vet. We always trust him with our dogs no matter what the situation. Brought our new fur baby in for her second shots, staff was very friendly upon check in and the veterinarian was extremely kind to both the puppy and myself. The cost was way less than I was expecting for a check up and immunization, and they even clipped the puppy nails as a courtesy. I’m glad I found a perfect vet within walking distance from my home, and puppy is too!

It was my first time taking my dog Bailey to this vet clinic and what an amazing experience it was! The receptionist was so kind and patient. The vet herself was very nice to chat with and made me feel confident that she knew what she was talking about. Bailey was very nervous and they did a great job taking care of her. This will be our vet from now on for her!!

The staff are soooooo friendly. I have to bring my cat in every few months for bloodwork and they always take amazing care of her. The staff are always willing to answer questions when I call and are good at returning phone calls. I'm glad I chose them to be my vet. They've done an amazing job at keeping my girl happy and healthy!

I have been looking for a new vet for a while and I’ve been having no luck with other vets I visited, they were either extremely rude or didn’t have time to talk to me. Then I entered Granada Vets.. Wow what a first experience. Upon my initial visit to check them out, the receptionist was so pleasant and super helpful and made me feel very welcome. This is our dog, Dudley, waiting in the examination room at Granada. We have been coming to Granada Vet Clinic since he was 8 weeks old. As you can tell by the photos he LOVES his veterinarian! He’s always… excited to see who walks through the exam room door regardless of if he’s there for shots or just a check up. Thanks to the Granada team for being so patient and kind during our visits!

I really love the fact this is such a family business now. The father and son that we've dealt with are extremely thorough and compassionate in their care for our pets.
