I love this mediterranean restaurant. Each time I visited here, I left with a happy smile and satisfied stomach. Dishes are delicious and generously served. Prices are reasonable. Dolmates (in the photo) is highly recommended.

We got seated fairly quickly and got our food in a timely manner. It gets busy here around dinner time so I'd come early. There's parking behind the restaurant which was nice because it was raining that day. We got the lamb souvlaki, lemon chicken and calamari. The lamb was juicy, tender and flavourful. Their tzatziki sauce tasted like it was homemade which is always a bonus. The lemon chicken was alright and we demolished that calamari! Only issue that made it lose a star is because we got seated right before another table and by the time we had finished eating and paid the check, they still hasn

We tried this restaurant on a Friday night. It was not too busy, but staff restricts the number of patrons due to Covid. My wife had moussaka, myself and my other companions had chicken souvlaki.
The souvlaki's were good but I was missing some type of dressing on the Greek salad. Even some olive oil and vinegar would be a nice touch on an otherwise bland salad.
My wife said her moussaka was not tasty and she left half of it on the plate.

The salmon was taste good! I also like the salty taste of pita bread. The staff were so friendly. Even I changed the payment to separate, but she change kindly.
I’m going to recommend my friends your shop.

First time and also the last time. The bill for was almost 70 bucks but tasted worse than a 10 buck-fast food meal. The food was bland, greasy and undercooked. My husband and I got really sick afterwards because they used too much oil, I think. The cheesecake was so bad, it was supposed to be a New York style one but turned out so gross that we couldn’t even have the second bite. We can’t believe that we paid money to get sick. Too bad that it was on our wedding anniversary too.

Salad had a lot of feta and tasted great, lamb was tender and juicy, and everything else was flavourful. However, I was extremely disappointed by the vegetables - seems like they pulled some vegetables out of the freezer and microwaved them. They were flavourless with a plasticy texture.

Everything was amazing. I came here yesterday with my friend and I wanted to give him special dining experience since we have not seen each other for a while. We ordered calamari meal and Dee's platter. First, greek salad and pita bread were served. The smell of bread almost killed me. What did they use to bake the bread? It was probably the best that I have ever smelled. And the salad was also fantastic. The size of cucumber was perfect and fit in my mouth. And the portion of cheese was generous. U have not tasted calamari but my friend said that it was good. And he finished his dish so it is

Wow wow wow. Adorable little place and prices are better than some of the more trendier Greek places.some of the best calamari I've had and the lamb dinner was outstanding. Service was prompt and friendlier. I may have to make this restaurant a regular thing.

I ordered through Uber Eats. I have had excellent food from here, both dine in and takeout.

My last order (a few days ago) was a complete reversal of my previous experiences.

The calamari was the worst quality I have ever eaten, anywhere. The rings were small on diameter, the sides were thin. It was over cooked and poor in taste. I threw most of it away.

The roast lamb had the taste, texture and appearance of being pressure cooked and finished for a few minutes in the oven. It was almost flavourless. The spanokapita was over done with some herb (maybe oregano). My daughter actually

TL;DR: Cozy greek place with a patio. Friendly service(but a bit understaffed). The souvlaki was great.
We went around 8 on Sunday and got a patio seat without needing to wait. The server was really friendly and engaging with us. Although they were a bit understaffed at the time of the edit so it took a bit longer for them to get to us.
We ordered the appy calamari, prawn and scallop souvlaki and lamb souvlaki. The calamari was fried nicely and golden crispy. The souvlaki all come with potato rice and vegetable. The price is a bit expensive but the prawn and scallop souvlaki was really good.

Very surprised with the poor service and also the quality of food. On a couple of recent occasions, I ordered the chicken souvlaki and the chicken and rib combo to takeaway.

The chicken was so-so; it came with rice, salad, pita. The sides were just ok. The portions were really small and the food was not hot. The lady also told us the wait wouldn't be more than 25 minutes and it turned out to be more than 1 hour on both occasions. The ribs were also just so-so; they were supposed to be dry-rubbed though not very exciting.

When I received the order the second time, the oil from the salad

We were originally planning to eat dinner across the street but the lineup was crazy. We decided to try Ramies Greek Restaurant instead.

We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 8:30pm) and were the only customers dining in. The inside is roomy with several tables but avoid sitting near the door because they do a shocking amount of takeout orders. It was a non-stop flow of delivery drivers.

The menu is split into appetizers, soups and salads, BBQ dishes, pasta, house specials, souvlakia, platters for two, seafood and desserts. Most of their entrees are in the $17.95 to $26.95 price range.

This restaurant was good. Large portions and great flavor. Now it lacks all of the above. It's like this restaurant has a new owner or chef. I will never order from this place again. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant. I ordered roasted lamb in which it had no flavor (rice, lamb, rice white sauce), pitas were raw. I ordered bbq ribs and believe me, tasted like the kind you can find in Walmart in a frozen box. Horrible food and l pay about $ 60.

Was leaving Metro and craved Greek food.

I noticed the dated interior and lack of patrons upon entering the establishment and it nudged me to back out. However, the number of takeout orders on the table and strong Yelp reviews influenced me to stay. Glad I did because of the friendly staff and prompt service. It was a takeout order of moussaka and chicken souvlaki and both tasted flavourful and delicious. Super generous portions of pita bread, rice, potato, salad and tzatziki. Honestly surprised by the price and amount of food we received.
Would definitely order takeout from Ramies again and

It saddens me to think of the businesses challenges restaurants are going to be facing heading into winter with no end to the Covid situation inside. Outdoor patio seating, as social-distance friendly as it is now, won't be an option. My guess is that they'll be a lot more take out promotions and discounts.

In any case, we arrived at 8pm at Ramies, about the time they were closing down the patio seating. There were still people outside, and I could hear take out orders being taken as well. I heard Ramie's name in the background; it's always a good thing to hear the owner

Ramie's Greek Restaurant is a well-established restaurant on Kingsway that we've visited on a number of occasions. Usually, we wind up ordering one of their special platters for take-out (really a good option if you're looking to try a bunch of different items). However, we came here for dine-in service in September for an impromptu date night.

Instead of their platters, we just opted for their regular menu and ordered the Moussaka ($17.95) and Ouzo Mushroom Chicken ($18.95 + $3 to sub for lasagna and Caesar salad). Before our main dishes came out, they brought out some freshly

I like the pita most. Warm, lightly salted and a bit buttery (or just brushed with olive oil?), it hit the spot.

We had the roast lamb and mousaka plate which came with rice, potato, Greek salad and tzatziki. My friend likes the roast lamb which is nicely done. The cut was proper and not full of bones. The mousaka was equally nice. Love the eggplant in it.

Somehow we did not finish the food and I packed back the remaining. Food was good but not wow.

Parking is available at the back. Or street parking is plentiful too.

Got the chicken souvlaki (had a coupon for buy one get one 50% off).
You get a good amount of food for what you pay for, and I'd say it's a better deal with a coupon.
Typical Greek fair, the only thing that was a nice touch was that you also get some veggies on the side.
I don't see myself going back there again if I don't have a coupon; not because it was bad, but just because it's not close by.

In the 20 anniversary celebration, we went this Greek restaurant. Souvlakia was good and big portion which are $1 cheaper than usual. The beef and prawns were yummy. Pita tasted very good and rich of butter. Ouzo was a greek alcohol which has a strong smell.

Clean, tidy place. Road side parking.

The atmosphere is casual and it can accommodate small groups. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Ramies Platter and calamari. The platter says it's for 2 but it could easily have fed 3-4 of us ladies. It was a great platter with a sample of the most popular Greek food items. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food and even had enough leftovers for 2 take out containers. I would come back.

Maybe it's a bit unfair but I judge Greek restaurants by the quality of the appetizers and the atmosphere. OMG did this place take me back to a little place on the island of Crete when I took my first bite of the Saganaki...it was nearly a spiritual experience. The chicken entree that I had was great and the vegetables were cooked to perfection.

My only problem with this establishment was the bread. Oh it was delicious...I'm on a low carb diet and it was unfair for them to put it on the table. Oh was it good!

Great value for the money. Oh. We went back the following week as well

So it's Valentine's Day and my sweet boyfriend decides to take me out for a dinner. I told him that we haven't tried this place. It was pretty busy considering the occasion. We were seated after probably 5 minutes of wait. We were handed the menu. We ordered the Feta Dip. It was under Appetizer and it says on the menu "All appetizers serve with Pita Bread". I ordered the Roast Lamb under House Specials and it says "All House Special served with Rice, Roast Potatoes, Veggies, Greek Salad and Pita". My boyfriend ordered the Calamari Dinner which

I needed a cup of coffee and they were considerate enough to put on a brew of fresh java for me.... the ladies were friendly as ever and the lamb was tender fall off the bone

Greek option around the Metrotown area.

Parking is available on the side streets.

The inside is stereotypical Greek with the blue and white theme. It looks quite 1980s in there, but is relatively clean. Plenty of tables, and a few booths are available too. There's a patio in front.

Staff were friendly.

Dishes are a bit more expensive at $18-25 for most entrees. Must be the rent here.

The souvlaki I had was okay. Nice decent sized portion. With that said, nothing really stuck out. In other words, decent but nothing special. Can't go wrong though.

Overall a decent experience if one

My hubby was craving for Greek food again. Sure, why not?

We tried Ramies Greek on Kingsway in Burnaby, they have free parking in the rear or just park on Kingsway meters. There some few tables available outside during summer time. Of coz, we would prefer inside sit in cool air-conditioning dining room.

They severed with fresh made greek pita bread and we had calamari to start as appetizer, the portion was huge but it's fresh and delicious.

I ordered Chicken & Prawns combo souvlakia which good but not great. My hubby had lamb and salmon, the lamb was at salty side and salmon overcooked
