Would give it a zero if I could. Chef guy stand was rude he start arguing with me just to stand in the restaurant to pick my food, like he think he was some kind hero(nonsense). Owner has no ethics how to speak to a customer. Eventually I already paid for the food and i dont want to waste it so I gave this food to a poor person.. This is my last visit for this DISGUSTING Restaurant.

If there is less than one start I wouldn't hesitate to rate it. Customer service is worst of the worst. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala a couple of days ago and it was like full of chicken no gravy and full of green paper, regardless of the taste of the gravy not as it used to be.👎🏻

We LOVE the butter chicken and naan here, but the problem is ordering. We order via Skip and it takes them ages to confirm the order. Sometimes 10+ minutes, which is way too long just for a confirmation. Great for when we’re not starving or on a schedule of any kind, but if we’re REALLY hungry we end up having to cancel and find somewhere else!

Do not buy this!!! We bought the special combos No. 3 chicken Tikka platter for 16.99 along with Naan. It had 5 pieces of Tikka along with rice and 1 Naan and raita.
We were very unhappy about the dish. There was no curry for the Naan. When we asked about that, they gave us tamarind water. I haven't ever had that as a Naan sidedish.
Regarding the raita it was so sour and less. It wasn't sufficient enough for the rice.we got one again by paying.
Now with regards to the rice. It was just colored with few chunks of curry in it not blended well.
The only thing was the Tikka pieces. It was OK.

I ordered the tandoori chicken wings, the gulab jamun and some samosas. The tendori chicken tasted good but was definitely over priced for the amount of food you get. You get 8 pieces with little meat. The samosa was pretty good and the sauce they give you is delicious and very light. And now for the best part which is the gulab jamun. Their gulab jamun is the best gulab jamun I've ever had. The gulab jamun carried this rating to a 3. It tasted like a sugary glaze but not overwhelmingly sweet. Their gulab jamun is the star of my meal and definitely worth trying, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed

You don’t get what you pay for. 13 bucks for a biryani and nothing comes with it as well as butter chicken. Lol I try butter chicken from a lot of different place it always comes with either salad or naan and much cheaper and tastier.

We had a takeaway at Iqbal Kebab Centre. We ordered Nihari which was perfectly blended with authentic flavors & spices and tasted amazing. Will surely try more items from their menu.

Tried the mixed vegetables at Iqbal Parkway Forest Drive. It was very mediocre meal. Less than ordinary. Not worth your money. They just use a frozen veggie package. Told us the mixed veggies included cauliflower but it was just made from a frozen packet but no cauliflower!!

The prep time is way too slow, food plain, not clean, there's a hair in my beef tail stew (which is only bones no meat ), very pricy $30 per person, small potion. This place should shutdown, no good for the neighborhood.

Saw this post on Facebook from a friend of mine that ordered takeout from your restaurant.
Shameful. Talk to your staff, apologize to these patrons and lead by example.

Horrible customer experience today! Always have a standard order and man who took order did not properly take the order and accused me of not stating the order correctly. Impossible as the order I place is always the same! Ludicrous

We have been ordering takeout from this location for some time. I wouldn't recommend dine in as the place doesn't look very clean and you have to get your food as no waiter system once it's ready.
My hubby usually gets their chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala. I would say it's spicy (3.5/5 spice level) and keep your tums ready! I have tried their vegetarian food (daal makhani, paneer and vegetarian biryani) and I'm not a big fine.
Prices seem comparable to other halal food places. My hubby likes their biryani and will continue to get their takeout (for now!).

One of the worst place you will ever eat with no customer care..The tandoori fish was extremely salty and we informed the owner that it was too salty,We ended up eating it bu dipping into water when the waiter went ahead to give us replacement for free..When we saw that we had ate half the food, he gave us no replacement and was rude and said that he will only give us half As replacement..

The half portion never came.. Avoid this place.

Kababs and regular menu items are pretty tasteless, they just look spicy.

However, credit where its due, their halwa puri breakfast on weekends is pretty good and best in the area(its very rare anyways). The aalo salan(potato curry) is the best I have had with halwa puris so far in Canada.

Food quantity was less. Ordered Chicken biryani, Chicken Kerhai, Nihari, Behari kabab, Seekh kabab, Butter chicken and Butter Naans. Only naans were great, rest were way below standard. Taste was bad as well. Couple of dishes had bad smell.

This is my favourite food stop in that neighbourhood!
Reading these bad reviews made me want to write them one that I feel they deserve.
The food is exceptionally good. Ive had byriani (all the flavours), tandoori chicken, chana masala, daal, garlic nan, pekoras, and, samosas.
The food is always delicious. Generous portions too- the byriani is big enough for two very hungry people!
Dining in isnt as pleasant because their food is spicy and their water glasses are tiny (styrofoam cups). I need a huge glass of water with their food, so take out/ delivery solves that issue.
The staff is very friendly

I order from here all the time. The food is a little overpriced but it's nearby so it's convenient. However, today I was eating their food and I bit into my naan and pulled a 4 inch long piece of plastic wrap out of the naan with my teeth........ will not be eating here again.

The food is good but is very expensive considering the portion. In a period of less than 3 years, the price increase and the portion decreased. Today we told them about the portion size, and to our surprised it became lesser than the last time we bought...

Kind of expensive if I consider other similar options I can have. I had the ground chicken kebob combo which comes with rice, salad, naan, and some sauce. I'd rather go to an Iranian/Turkish/Afghan place for a similar kebob combo.

It took 15 mins to cook my ground chicken kebob which imo is a little long for a place with almost no customers.

As for the food itself, it was ok. I definitely prefer the afghan/Iranian flavors over this. There are lots of spices though and the taste is alright. The salad is a little disappointing. The naan was excellent.

The location is a bit awkward for me

Though I'm not Pakistani, many of my friends are and I have had the privilege and good fortune of eating home made, restaurant and banquet hall Pakistani food so for a "gori", I consider myself to be a bit of an expert.

After living in North York for a year, I was excited to see the sign for Iqbal's from the highway. I usually drive to Brampton when I want Pakistani food.

Vegetable biryani- I was most happy with this dish. It had lots of veggies and it was well spiced. The raita that came with it was very watered down, too much so, so the point that it was like pouring

Not believing in the reviews I've read, and knowing that the Thorncliffe location is owned by the same people. I gave this a try. It's a hidden location near Fairview Mall, but across the street buried in a small Plaza near the Subway.

I ordered a Lamb Biryani and a Karahi Gohst (I'm a lamb fan), my orders came with a small Salad with Raita & Tamarand dressing and as well as a fresh naan of my choice.

Utterly delicious! There's a fair bit of heat with the dishes(I'm very tolerant), the biryani is rich with flavours with plenty of herbs and spices. The karahi

I should have followed my gut and just gone to subway next door instead...or sushi. There was a group of 5-6 young guys outside who screamed NOOO DON'T GO THERE - IT'S NOT GOOD!! as I was walking into Iqbal Kebab.

Went here for lunch - around 12:10pm. I ordered the lunch special which was chicken, rice, desert, naan and salad. It cost me $7.95. You would think that lunch special would be ready to go at....lunch time, right? NOPE! The girl who worked there said, in a not-so-nice tone, that it will be 15min like I was inconveniencing her by ordering the lunch special. I said fine. I WAS
