The shower head was broken and rusted! I had checked into the room and did not even use the shower until I tried the next morning. The water bursted out everywhere, and I tried to turn the shower head and all of a sudden it breaks off. A shower head should not break that easy and I shouldn’t have to pay for this hotel’s renovations! Paul Kostas has refused to give me my report for the broken shower head and did not ask to charge my card prior! I asked if the maids even turn the showers on to check! And I got no answer. Please do not waste 500$ damage deposit and I would be careful and get paper

CLEANLINESS; fridge dirty, found a dirty Kleenex in the ice bucket, dust everywhere in the room, carpet and chairs dirty, bedspreads gray but should be white, bathroom wall mirror dirty, carpets in elevators muddy, ceiling tiles missing in the corridor, empty glass stayed on the corridor floor for 2 days and I can go on and on.....
PARKING: not gated and not secured, for $10.00 per night it should be at least gated
BREAKFAST; a real joke, about nothing to eat, the last morning there was bacon and hash browns, no eggs or omelets

I highly recommend that you do not stay here. The first night my truck was broken into. I told the staff and they could not have cared less. They said I could fill a police report if I wanted. They didn't even offer to pay for my cab to Speedy. $400 later I didn't get any discount on my room. The next day I had a note on my vehicle that I was not a customer and my car was going to get towed. Security is not 24 hrs. The service was terrible, bed was old and the location was not a good part of town.

Overall good stay. I arrived in town with hardly any plans and needed a place to stay. Booked on hotels.com and arrived around 9pm. Front desk lady was kind and patient with me to get everything situated. My room was nice and clean. Comfy bed. Fridge and microwave. I was able to get to the pool, hot tub and steam room. Looks like they had a gym as well. I enjoyed the amenities. I slept well, quite, good temperature. Price was good for my stay. Just the one night. The parking was awful.... just one small small lot around back. I was lucky to squeeze in to a place. I was happy to be able to keep

We are staying here now and by far it's been the cleanest and most comfortable place we have stayed for the money. The staff is amazing, always asking if we need anything and always smiling and they are always busy doing something. I have yet to see them standing around just chatting or leaning on a counter looking bored. I would hire these people any day. The free breakfast is good. Everything is hot that should be and tastes pretty good as well.
The location is close to the forks and the Skywalk and under ground shopping.

This is probably the best value for your dollar in Winnipeg!
There are many included services, some that are not even expected. A pool & hot tub and steam room. A fitness centre, a business centre, a microwave/fridge in ea. room, free breakfast, and even laundry facilities. There is a longer list that you can find on their web site. My room, which had enough room for two king beds and then room to spare, was affordably priced for about $100 a night but had the value of well past that based on what I am used to.
I would suggest to other visitors that they pick a place on the alley side
