A complete exam will help us determine whether you will need a prescription to correct any vision changes. Bower Eye Care is a provider of optometry services - eye health and vision care - with two convenient locations in Alberta, Canada. Our team of certified professionals work to maintain the health of your eyes using advanced technologies and clear clinical judgement. Not only do we provide complete, and thorough eye exams, but we also include integral eye care services at no additional charge.
A complete exam will help us determine whether you will need a prescription to correct any vision changes. But vision quality is just one aspect of the exam. We conduct a variety of tests to determine if you have any vision/health problems, or if there are any future vision issues that may arise. Our office can also provide follow-up testing with new prescriptions and post-op care for eye surgeries.

My children were due for an eye exam and I couldn’t recall the name of the clinic we normally go to in Bower. When I called in and described the location, they assured me I called the correct place. It wasn’t. I had been misled. I should have cancelled at that moment, but went through with the appointments anyway. After checking in, I was then told I would have to pay $50 out of pocket for each child for a specific test AHS doesn’t cover. This had never been explained. The receptionist made me feel so small when I said I wasn’t going to pay it. Surely this is something that should be explained

The doctors here are so lovely! Dr Jivraj is absolutely delightful and really knows his stuff. I usually am so nervous about having my eyes touched, he fitted me for scleral lenses and I was so nervous but he made the experience so painless and I was laughing the whole time! He makes sure he explains everything so I know what's going on with my eyes. Lots of doctors just give you your prescription and send you on your way, I appreciate having a doctor who cares about you knowing what they're looking at and looking for.

Was disappointed when I came in this evening for a walk in eye exam. The wonderful gentleman at LensCrafters tried to get me in but the doctor had already left for the day. Thankfully the other office in the mall got me in last minute. FYI if your hours say open till 6 you should probably have a doctor till then.

So accommodating, I called late morning and they were able to get me in at 3pm same day. The Doctor was so friendly, personable and professional. He answered my MANY (never ending) questions and I left feeling like I had a better understanding of the things I was concerned about. He wasn’t pushy to sell anything, took his time educating me and nothing at all felt rushed. I feel confident strongly recommending this vision centre to anyone, it was a great experience!

My husband had the most excellent service here today! Dr. Minesh Kutlerywala and the receptionists were so accommodating! He had a malfunction with his new glasses and the Dr. fit him in and rechecked his perscription and gave it a bit of a tweak. New lenses have been ordered and disaster has been diverted. 2020 has been a rotten year so it's really nice to have people go above and beyond to help a person out. WAY TO GO "BOWER EYE CARE"!

Was recently in need of a family checkup for our eyes and was recommended to check out Bower Eye Care, located inside Bower Mall. I should point out that there are 2 Optometrists in Bower Mall, with almost identical names! I ended up at the wrong one for our first appointment and they said it was really common. This one is called Bower Eye Care and the other is Bower Place Eye Care... So you can see how I made this mistake... Bower Eye Care is joined to the Lens Crafters, making it a simple breeze to get your prescription filled without having to leave the Optometrist! We did notice that it was

Im very pleased on how Dr. Arshad Ali treats his patients really well. He is so professional and very kind. What Im not really impressed about is the receptionist ladies there. I find them quite rude. No proper greetings. They dont smile. They dont even say thank you, have a great day. I bought a contact lense there today and after the transaction, I gave the lady the debit machine back after using it and she handed me the contact lense with no words. If it wasnt for the doctor, I would not go back here.

Went there for the first time today to get my contact prescription done. From the day I booked my appointment I knew it would be a great experience. The receptionist that booked me in was so polite and accommodating to my tight schedule and answered every single question I had in detail. Today my appointment went beautifully and the patience they… have while teaching you how to put in and take out contacts is astounding. Doctors are incompetent, contradict each other. After receiving a diagnoses of having an ulcer, I went to a different optometrist for a second opinion . To which they found nothing and laughed when I told them where I had come from. Giving this place the benefit of the doubt u went back today, I will never step foot in this office again. Front desk people are nice and professional but the doctors are complete idiots

We are so impressed with the service we have received from the Optometrists and service staff at Bower Eye Care.
They have looked after our needs in a very professional and courteous manner for years and we would highly recommend them.
Unfortunately due to an address change we have recently changed to another practice so we will definitely miss them.

Great doctors here. I bring my whole family here for their check ups. I have been using this office for 6+ years and have never had a bad experience with the doctors or the ladies at the front desk. They were great with my daughter and helped me to understand that her eyes were healthy and gave me tips to keep her eyes safe. They took the time to answer my questions, unlike other places where you are pushed through like cattle. Some of the places I called wanted to charge me $150 for a routine exam but these guys were much lower AND they direct billed it to my insurance. It was a great experience
