On the hair salon side of our business, we employ a strong team of experienced hairstylists - we are more than confident in being able to deliver beautiful, stunning haircuts and hairstyles to all of our customers. We are home to many stylists who have come from varying backgrounds, bringing an exceptional sense of style, definition and elegance to our customers' hair care needs.
We have brought together a dream team with individual style and diverse backgrounds that offers something for everyone. Our extensive knowledge, education, creativity, and individuality ensures that you will get the results you are looking for! As a Creative Director, Fiona makes sure that MANE On Bloor colourists and stylists are current with the latest techniques and treatments.
MANE on Bloor is a new salon starting to build our clientele, one client at a time. For the coming months after our Grand Opening, we will be offering promotions to welcome our new clients into the salon and offering them services and treatments that will be difficult to beat anywhere else. As a way of saying thank you, you will receive $10 towards your next visit for every friend referred.
Mane has recently added the services of a certified oncology esthetician that has designed and modified spa treatments in order to safely and effectively address skin concerns of the cancer patient. Our spa offers premium quality esthetic services within the salon specializing in facials, skin rejuvenation and hair reduction.

Kristina was extremely professional and oh so gentle with her words and how she handled my hair. She was not pushy with any of her products and only suggested what would suit my hair type. I loved how she kept its very real with certain products that had a hefty price tag and suggested I try the sample first. I would definitely recommend her. Such a sweet soul. Thank you Kristina.

I originally came here a year ago when flying into Toronto and had such an amazing experience. Mane was recommended by a friend and I was a little unsure being a man and going to a boutique salon but I'm so glad I did. The ladies made me feel at home, very friendly, professional, and personally, they're just amazing people. I was relieved when I saw them not wearing masks, it was a sense of normalcy in a crazy time, I took mine off and felt the weight of the world be lifted off my shoulders. The one star rating is not because they are actively looking to hire only unvaccinated individuals (as they have posted on sites that they are).
It's also not because no one in the salon wears a mask...claiming "medical exemption", since "wearing a mask causes you to breath in your own CO2, which is POISON!"; this is obviously not a valid medical exemption.
On a side note: I do find it a bit amusing that they have also commented that masks don't work anyhow, since the virus is "too small", at 100nm (nanometers) in diameter..but somehow believe that masks trap their CO2, "poisoning them", when

Respectful and welcoming. I felt comfortable with Armando and he gave me a great curly haircut! The other stylists were helpful and friendly too and helped with the parking. Mask excemptions honored which is what drew me here! They are truly brave and standing up for our freedoms! I will continue to support this business. More businesses should rise up like them.

I happened to call the salon before my appointment regarding their mask policy. I was told the staff do not wear masks due to medical exemptions. That is their personal choice, and I have absolutely no problem with this. To each their own!
Unfortunately I still don't feel comfortable being around people I don't know who are not wearing masks. I wish I did because the salon has great reviews! I unfortunately cancelled my appointment because of this. I fully support small businesses, but I do wish I was made aware of this when I booked my appointment.
