Billings Bridge Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care in south Ottawa for 30 years. Our hospital was founded in 1986 and has grown from a small, one-doctor practice in a strip mall to a busy four-doctor practice in a 2,100 square foot standalone building at the corner of Lamira Street and Rooneys Lane.

Note that we require 24 hours to fill most medications. You will be notified by email, confirming your order or informing you if there will be any delay.
Billings Bridge Animal Hospital is located on Rooneys Lane, just 1 block south of the Billings Bridge Shopping Centre and the nearby Bank Street and Lamira Street intersection. Free parking is available. We are also accessible by public transit (Route 48, stop 7191). Our services include blood work, urinalysis, ultrasound, echocardiogram and endoscopy dentistry.

Amazing, the staff there were super friendly and helpful. The vet was not pushy about any treatments that may or may have not been needed. They clearly were not after money instead were more intrested in offering the best treatment. Would definitely recommend going to this vet again. I will be going back in the future.

Today was my first visit to Billings Bridge Animal Hospital and I am beyond pleased with the experience. The entire team was so welcoming and friendly. It's strange handing your dog off and waiting for a call to discuss his health (thank you covid), but Dr. Hopwood made me feel like I was there in the room. He answered all of my questions and was kind and thoughtful. I cannot recommend the team here enough!

We had our first visit today with Dr. Arthur and were blown away! He was incredibly understanding and kind with our nervous cat, Luna, and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with us humans too! This really felt like a safe space where pets and owners are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. They let you know all your options and are… not pushy which really makes for a more comfortable vet trip. We also got Luna's nails trimmed and again, the vet tech Kassandra was very sweet and gentle with her. Nails were done in no time! Thanks for the great experience! :)

Thank you to all the staff for their care and compassion to Burley (and myself) this past May. Although it ended sadly, I commend you for the way you dealt with the situation. On a happier note, you will be meeting someone new in the fall...Ginger is a 3 year female yellow lab who will become part of our family in September.

Totally Blown away with degree of excellent service I received from These people at this animal hospital Especially Dr. McDonald. THANK YOU!! Again. It is Christmas Eve 2015 and I was looking at the possibility… of having my best friend in the world (my cat Thomas) put to sleep because he might have cancer.
