Services
Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer. Replace other filters (air, fuel, PCV, etc.) as recommended, or more often in dusty conditions. Get engine drivability problems (hard stops, rough idling, stalling, diminished power, etc.) corrected at a good shop.

Wrenches did a significant amount of work to my older GMC. The rear differential was making noise for a year or so, water pump with a slow leak for many years, intake and idle problems. Jay and I discussed the truck and the issues, being mechanically inclined myself it was a good conversation around the pinion and crown gears and which way we should consider repairing or replacing. The water pump leak was gaskets but opted to replace the pump. The intake issues were very minor. I was treated very fairly and would recommend wrenches and team to anyone. If I were a younger man I would do the repairs

Jay was honest and to the penny of his original quote.
They had my vehicle in on time and did a quality professional replacement of my driver's side door lock actuator ,considerably cheaper than at the dealerships quoted repair costs.
They are also easy to find just off 32nd Ave
I will continue to use WRENCHES for any future repairs to my families vehicles in Calgary.
I truly appreciated the honest and straightforward repair quote.

Wrenches 🔧 is by far the best 👌 automotive repair shop I have experienced in 55 years with the one exception that was my previous shop until he retired and closed his business.
Wrench's owner Jay is always pleasant. He greets you warmly and discusses your automotive needs. Then the mechanics do what is required and they are also easy to talk to.
The prices are reasonable considering the cost of everything else such as new 🚘 🚗 automobiles. They don't upsell you to do work that is unrequited.

They always work on my girlfriends vehicle. I personally never been here but she has been coming to Wrenches for years and has never had a bad experience. The guys here are incredibly accommodating and kind, and are super helpful and knowledgeable. Service and pricing has always been good here, she always gets her vehicle serviced here.

This was may first experience with Wrenches auto service and based on my experience, I will be a returning customer anytime there is any work to perform on my vehicles. Specifically, I brought my car in for what appeared to be a battery drain issue and a power wind switch not working. It was quickly determined the issue was only the battery and that was all I paid for

After a search of mechanics close to my office I was quick to call Jay and the team at Wrenches to assist me with the AC in my car. I knew it was busted and would be a major repair, but Jay was kind enough to fit me in at the end of a work day to do a quick check over to confirm the issue. Once it was confirmed he did he research to find the material/parts he needed to repair it in a timely manner (I was driving to Kelowna the following week).
He was able to get the parts in quickly and made room in his schedule to have the repair done before my trip.

My air conditioning in my car stopped working and it was awful in the hot summer. I had one air conditioning repair company look at it and they just said something was wrong, but no details. I then had the dealer look at it and they said it was 'contaminated', but couldn't fix it. I then brought it to Wrenches and they took a look at it and within an hour they told me it was the computer and had a detailed list of all the things they did to find the problem. They also were able to give me a clear quote for what it would take to get it fixed. I was super impressed with their honesty and clarity
