Rain is one of the Partners of Henderson Heinrichs LLP. She obtained her LLB from the University of British Columbia in 1991 and was called to the BC Bar in 1992. She has practiced almost exclusively in the area of family and divorce law since that time.
She and Kevin Heinrichs formed the firm in 1997 and continue to work together to maintain a firm that ensures that the clients that retain the Firm have the best representation possible for their situation.No one case is the same and Rain tailors her work based on the client's needs. Alex graduated from Simon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and obtained his law degree in 2017 at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Alex is a passionate advocate. He understands that our firm's clients are going through some of the most stressful events in their lives and that it is during this time that committed and effective legal representation is most valuable.
Sonia is skilled at developing creative and strategic legal solutions tailored to each individual's circumstances. She believes that every family is unique and there is no "one-size" solution to any family law case. Sonia understands that navigating through a family law matter is a very emotional and stressful process.

You never want to hire a lawyer but believe when I say you do not want to hire Vanessa Park or Angie Riano of HHlaw.
From what I've experienced HH provides terrible lawyers who will run up your billables and ignore your needs.
After charging me over $7,000 for an extremely disappointing separation agreement my lawyer then took THREE WEEKS to sign and send to apposing
counsel my agreement after I had expressed the need for haste.
These people will make busy work obsessively trying to setup calls to grow their billables while neglecting for three weeks to hire a courier to have a document

They asked me the full amount of $ 3000 before work and I gave them the money and he told me I will work so that you can communicate with your children and visit them ... After a month his words changed and he said to me we will only work to communicate with them over the phone without visiting, I told him OK ... then He sent two letters to the opponent's lawyer and they did not agree to our request.
Here he must submit an application to the court to complete his work! This is what he said from the beginning,

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
I had Vanessa Park as my lawyer. She is incompetent and greedy. Vanessa does NOT care about her client's welfare. I agree with what someone else said in her rating: She is covert about fees then she charges you like crazy. Avoid at all costs. She is a complete waste of money.

The receptionist was superbly helpful and friendly; I loved our conversation after my appointment with Sonia Kainth! Ms. Kainth was VERY professional and compassionate, and helped to allay my fears about any possible issues that could arise from my separation. Signed up for a free 30 minute consultation and had to cancel due to sickness before appointment. They then contact me telling that they are waiving a $75 cancellation fee they never mentioned in the first place and they attached a form to fill out that puts me on the hook for a charge before the free consultation ever takes place. That's terrible customer service and misrepresented the supposed free consultation in the first place.

I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Heinrichs face to face, but he worked tirelessly with us over email and phone. He answered every question, twice and ensured that we were over prepared for every court hearing.

Well, who wants to say they "loved it" when reviewing a divorce lawyer? Divorce is a terrible process in most cases, and our case was particularly horrible, with international complications, abuse, fraud and whatever else you could throw into the mix. However, I cannot say enough about the professionalism, expertise, calm, and wise counsel we received at Henderson Heinrichs. Kevin was our lawyer, and I'd recommend him without hesitation, but each and every person we came in contact with at the firm was a lifeline for us, from reception to paralegal to associates and partners.
